Steve was very clear on the instructions on how to take care of the leather and all there store’s policy. The store had a great selection of jackets, vests , boots, and gloves. Overall amazing experience and would 100% recommend shopping at leathers for all your needs .”

“Amazing service!!! We arrived in Burlington after a couple hour drive when I discovered I forgot my garment bag with the clothing for a special dinner that evening. We drove directly to Scriveners and within an hour David outfitted me with a jacket, pants and shirt. Most impressively, we returned a short time later to pick up everything - alterations were done and the shirt was freshly pressed. Thank you for bailing me out, David!”

“Came into the store today looking to purchase a work style jacket. I was met by Franco who took me through some of the product line in the store. He patiently explained a number of key features of different jackets. I settled on a hooded carhartt jacket and I'm very happy with my purchase.

“Came in for a suit jacket to update my husbands usual standard suit look, and we were greeted by a well dressed employee named Mike, (he was serving another customer at the same time as us and I might add very attentively .)We told him the price point we could afford and the colour of the suit pants we just needed a more modern suit jacket to complete the look , he gave some suggestions and ideas on shirt colours and pulled some jackets that resulted in my husband looking as hot as a suit model in the catalogues! Mike definitely knew what would look good together and what colors complimented each other . Can’t wait for our night out and to be seen holding his arm ?? thanks so much Mike!! we will definitely shop here again !”
“John was super helpful and friendly. They had to tailor the shirts to fit me as I have a muscular build and nothing off the shelf fits me anymore. But they were able to have that done in house within a few days. It was affordable and great quality materials. Strauss will be my go to for men's wear for now on.”

“Just spent over 1k in the store but still not getting shopping bags to pack my stuff… It’s not about the 1 CAD that a reusable bag costs after spending 1000 CAD… It’s a matter of principle. I get that to save the environment and I do agree. But people are not spending (I guess) a thousand dollars every day so maybe it would be great to have a minimum spend threshold for customers where above that they get decent service with shopping bags. Also, it would be great to get at least a 5 or 10 percent discount as this amount would make me feel like coming back and spending here again. 4 stars because of the selection. It was great honestly.”

“Had an amazing experience with Larry on Friday. He helped me to select a suit for a wedding the following day. He brought us through the different styles, materials, colours, etc. for different temperatures, seasons, and occasions. He was helpful in narrowing down the choices and even got the fit close enough that I didn’t need alterations for my last minute purchase. I should also say that this review is long overdue seeing as he’s helped me at least twice before with jeans as well as Christmas shopping and was very attentive even during the high traffic time. This time, we had trouble picking between the final two options for a suit, but fortunately there were two other associates that poked their heads in to weigh their opinions and we landed on the classic style to get more longevity/value. They were all very friendly, helpful and dressed to impress which made it all that much easier to trust their opinions. Seriously - Larry rocking the double-breast and his colleague with some sweet boots and a very elegantly dressed woman. I would definitely check this place out and will return myself.”

She knew the store and stock well and was very helpful with sizing items and ensuring appropriate fit. She advised us of current promotions. This store didn't have the exact size we needed in the suit so she located one in a nearby location and arranged to have it waiting for us for a quick pickup.
