“Absolutely love this place!!!!! They have a wide collection of books at affordable prices and most importantly, they are honest. I picked a book and as I was about to pay, the cashier told me that there is another copy at a cheaper price. They promote customer satisfaction over profit 100%”
“The owner has always made my teenager feel at home, and has always been available to answer her questions. The store has a good variety and is well organized. I looks like it has been around for a long time and is well established. Kind of a relic!”
“The store is cozy and has a good selection of books, stationary, etc. The staff is super nice and helpful. The only downside is that it lacks more places for you to sit down and read, but other than that it's a good Indigo location.”
“The staff here was great. I went in to make an exchange, the gentleman helped me navigate the store to find the same item in another size, and offered input on an item I had to switch for a different kind. As a non current student, and not having navigated the campus halls in ages, it was a little difficult to find and I had to ask someone how to get there. Again I’m sure if I was on campus all day taking classes and whatnot it would’ve been an easier find, but they could improve signs on how to get there from the building entrance”
“The first time I entered Old Goat Books was about 10 years ago and I was in complete awe. It felt like the city streets had melted away and I had stumbled back a century into a charming little store that had rows upon rows of books, soft tinkling music and a highly knowledgeable gentleman. Over the years I have brought home several books from OGB. The store reminds me a little of Ollivander’s Wand shop in Harry Potter and I felt like wands, the books here also chose the reader. Several books I got had little notes tucked in from decades before I was even born. It is like owning a small piece of history. I am so delighted to know they are now in the old Marbles building, the perfect crossover of two historic KW gems.”
