“What a great experience dealing with this company! We needed to replace some storm windows on a very old heritage house. I dropped in to Pilkey Glass in Markham and I have to say we were so appreciative of their advice, service and pricing. The storm windows were measured, fabricated and installed in record time. They were friendly, helpful, took their time with you when you called and were very reasonably priced. This was not a big job for them but we felt like we got their full attention at a very busy time in the season.”

“My family has been purchasing from Hometrend for well over a decade and I came here as a young adult with my parents today on February 28, 2026 for the first time myself. Now that I have experienced it firsthand, I completely understand why they have remained loyal customers for so many years.

This place is truly a hidden gem. From the moment we walked in, the lady who helped us was incredibly warm, patient, and genuinely kind. She is not only an excellent salesperson but also such a sweetheart. She took the time to explain different options without being pushy at all which made the entire shopping experience feel relaxed and welcoming. It felt more like we were being helped by someone who truly wanted us to get the best value rather than someone just trying to make a quick sale.

One of the biggest highlights of shopping here is the pricing. Compared to larger retail stores such as IKEA, Winners, and other bedding retailers, Hometrend offers significantly more affordable options because they operate on a wholesale model. Many of their items are up to 50 percent off and much cheaper than retail in many places.

We were able to purchase assorted bedskirts in multiple sizes including Twin, Double, Queen, and King and got 10 for only $10 which works out to just $1 each. These bedskirts were regularly priced between $15 to $28 each so this was an incredible deal that you honestly would not find elsewhere. We are even planning on repurposing some of them for other uses such as sewing projects and clothing which makes it an even more worthwhile and sustainable investment when buying in bulk.

I also ended up purchasing the cutest sheep throw that I absolutely could not resist. It reminded me so much of Princess Diana’s iconic sheep sweater and immediately caught my eye. The regular price was listed at around $100 but we paid only $45 which made it feel like such a steal. I have personally seen very similar throws being sold in other stores for anywhere between $80 to well over $100 so the value here is truly incredible for the quality received.

Speaking of quality, the materials feel soft, durable, and well made. If you are looking for high quality long lasting bedsheets and linens, this is definitely the place to go. My parents have purchased bedding from here decades ago that are still holding up today which makes everything here a very worthy long term investment especially if you are buying in bulk.

They also have really cute decor where you can purchase wholesale mini knickknacks which is great if you are decorating on a budget.

I would highly recommend Hometrend to anyone looking for affordable yet high quality bedding and home textiles. They are open to the public and also have an affordable online website where you can browse and purchase items from home if you are unable to visit in person. The store is conveniently located across the plaza beside McDonald’s so it is very easy to find and hard to miss.

We will definitely be referring others and continue shopping here for years to come.”

“Large One's store located in the same plaza at Foody supermarket and McDonald's. They carry alot of household goods such as utensils, cutlery, bowls, slippers, linen, curtains, laundry racks, plush animals, chairs, house decorations, etc. They aren't too busy and I'm not sure how they stay in business, but I'm glad they are still around after all these years as I like browsing the store. You can likely find better prices for some things on AliExpress, Amazon or at The Best Shop.”

“I have been to many stores to find a specific plant, but in vein. On Jan 12, 2026 I came to this RONA store at the southeast corner of Steeles & Markham with a slim of hope. To my surprise, it had the exact plant I wanted. The store manager Trevor greeted me when I stepped into the store and looked around, and he guided me to the section.
