Lanspeary Park is a historic park over a century old, offering a variety of activities for visitors. In the summer, guests can enjoy a swimming pool that is currently being renovated, while in winter, an outdoor ice rink is available for free public skating during designated hours. Although skate rentals are not offered, the rink is well-maintained, and many appreciate the good scheduling for all skaters. The park is also a great spot for walking, picnicking, and playing sports like baseball, soccer, and football, making it ideal for families and friends. The newly renovated playground is a highlight for children, and the picnic area, although limited in tables, provides a pleasant space for gatherings. Lanspeary Park is dog-friendly, allowing visitors to enjoy time with their pets while ensuring cleanliness. Restrooms are clean, although some were under construction during a recent visit. Overall, the City of Windsor has done a commendable job maintaining this park, making it a safe and enjoyable place for everyone.

I actually went for some ice skating. There are specific hours where we use the rink for free ie. for the general public. It was an outdoor rink and was good. I personally didn’t try it as I didn’t have my skates.
It would have been much better if they were willing to rent out skates.
