They were able to fit in a customer on the same day, even on a Sunday, while the customer was on an international road trip. The repairs, which included 4 brake pads, 4 rotors, and 1 caliper, cost the customer $1300, but they still recommend bringing your vehicle here for any needed repairs. Another customer took their van to Mel's because of a clunking sound in the front end suspension when turning the wheel in reverse. The staff at Mel's identified leaks in the front struts, replaced the struts and sway bars, and performed a 4-wheel alignment, resolving the issue. The customer noted that the group at Mel's is friendly and honest and will not steer you wrong. A customer driving back home to Kentucky from Guelph had their car break down in Windsor. Even though it was a Sunday, the staff at Mel's Automotive immediately took the time to check the car out, provide a quote, get the part, and complete the repair, all within 24 hours, allowing the customer to get back on the road. The customer described the service as unbelievable, the staff as incredibly kind and hardworking, and the prices as great, and they would recommend Mel's Automotive to anyone in the area.
