Don't buy from Henry's. They have a terrible return policy. I got a godox flash which I opened once to make sure product was okay. I came back to return it because it wasn't what my friend wanted. Even the tape on the the flash wa there, they told me they will charge me a restocking fee cause of some dust on the flash and the fact that box was open. I asked him to check flash count, he declined to do such thing and tells me I have used the lens. Very disappointed, never buying from Henry's again. Amazon customer service is much better.

We went here to get our 6 month old passport picture taken as website says they take them. When we walked in, we were met with a negative employee right away. Wish I took his name, tall thin white with curly hair. He says um we can try but probably wont work. Long story short, we got pretty decent pictures taken but he refused to let us purchase them because he said that he knows the passport rules and our baby had a bit of her mouth open and that the passport office wont accept. I told him that I was willing to take the risk and that I wont blame them if they dont work and he said no and told me I need to go to a place that specializes in baby passport pics. He refused to sell the picture to me! What a waste of time. I ended up going to a random place down the street that same place and they literaly took the picture in 10 seconds and told me that the passport office is not that strict with baby photos. He was right, the picture was not perfect but it was accepted no questions asked. This Henrys location wasted my morning and put me through a hassle for no reason. They have employees on a ego trip. They should not be advertising baby passport pics as they clearly know nothing about it, they are spreading fake information about requirements and dont seem like they want your business. Dont waste your time here.

I've been going to Henry's since I've been in high school, which was about 25 years ago. I'm not in no way an avid photographer or videographer to say the least. I'm literally just a realtor always buying tech stuff for my business. Let's be real, the first choice, like everyone, we always think to go to best buy. Naturally, right?! I'm being honest here since this is a review. Here's the thing, we can only go to best buy so many times until we reach the point of frustration. Recently, I kicked myself in the a$$ because I wasted my time going to best buy. I was in search for some equipment to shoot content with. So I needed a tripod and ring light. Simple right? Nope. I know at best buy the employees don't work on commission, but i can't stand waiting in an aisle waiting for someone to come help me. (I'm gonna get to the Henry's part, bare with me first) first off, everything at best buy is anchored down to the counter, they don't showcase all of their products and you cant open anything in the store. I spent $1800 at best buy for stuff that I thought I needed... Basically because I did online research. And the only reason why I didn't go to Henry's first is because I always think they are expensive. Well.. good thing here in Canada we have a return policy. I walked into Henry's twice, I simply explained what I needed and right away not only was I brought to the aisles of what I was looking for, but the employee not only talked about the difference was between the product, and why this maybe would be better than the other, but he also showed me products. He extended the ring light showed me how it works he also did the same for the tripod. He honestly didn't have to, because the best thing about Henry's is that it's a small enough store where they don't need to have five million of one product. They just carry the good stuff in all prices ranges. And I walked out spending only $280 for products that I can't believe how amazing the quality is.Also, on that note, the products that I bought at best buy, I had to drive home, take it out of the box, already wasn't impressed when I took it out of the box and then when I had to use it.. it was the cheapest thing ever. And a second note, Henry's prices for their products are much better. Best buy is like buying online u never know what ur going to get until u get home. Henry's is more of a.. "hey, if I'm gonna spend money on something I don't know about, you better believe I need to see it and touch it first...and backed by knowledge.Anyways, this is the Vaughan location I'm talking about. You guys are the best. To anyone who is new into content creating, or and industry that is not photography or videography but we need to incorporate marketing into our business, go here. Just go to Henry's. They even have seminars and educational workshops.Love coming here!

Highly recommend this store. I wanted to trade in my gently used Nikon D810 + Lens and ended up getting the Sony A7RIV + Sony 35mm 1.4 GM lens. The store staff ( Damien ) was super helpful and friendly. The first time I went in, I was in a hurry so he gave me a quote. I ended up going back and did my trade in for a great value.Said , another staff member, also helped me with letting me know the features and warranty details.Damien and Said were very helpful. They even said they would help me out with the settings for the camera. Overall, I had a great experience.Needless to say, I went back to this store for the excellent service provided to me. I visited the Scarborough location and it was not a pleasant experience & I am never going back there. The staff at the Vaughan location are way better and friendlier.Thank you Damien!!!

I'd like to share my unhappy purchasing experience at the Woodbridge store last week .I went to sell my lens. The salesperson told me that if I wanted to make a new purchase using my credit, I could avoid paying taxes, but if I bought later, I'd have to pay taxes. At that time, I ended up buying a Fujifilm XT5 that was an open-box item. The salesperson claimed it was new, but it was evident that someone had handled it. There were fingerprints on the screen, and it was in an "on" state with a drained battery. The salesperson insisted they could show it to customers, but it was still considered new. Without thinking too much, I paid for it.Today, I went to the Thornhill store to sell my camera. I asked the store employee there, and they said there's no such tax-saving policy. Furthermore, they shouldn't be telling customers this way. I understand that you're in the business of selling products, but please don't mislead consumers. Additionally, selling open-box items as new and then declaring them as "final sale" is questionable. I'm not sure if this is how your staff is trained

My experience at Henry’s was AMAZING!? I was helped by a wonderful employee named Antonio. He helped me print pictures of me and my gal pals from our trip to the Falls???. Plus the prices were amazing so I could make my scrapbook on a budget??. I recommend Henry’s for all of your camera needs ??. I will be going back?

Had a great experience getting my passport pictures done here ! Was met with care and amazing customer service by staff, the pictures came out great and just what I needed to get my passport renewed. The worker that helped me out was Christian and he did a fantastic job with my photos. I was left feeling more than satisfied with the quality of service and work provided and this will be my new go to place for anything photography or camera related ! If you are visiting I would highly recommend asking for Christian to help you out for any inquiries.

Today I went to Henry’s on Weston Road to print some photos from my kids weddings. Damien Ouellette provided excellent guidance and support to me during my visit. His expertise in photographic techniques and his eye for colour and his ability to visualize the best editing for the photo contributed to an excellent product. Very happy with the service. He is also very pleasant and easy to deal with. Thanks, Damien!!

Canada's Greatest Camera Store. Hmm - what a sad statement on the condition of the Canadian Camera industry. While visiting my daughter in Toronto, she asked me if I could have her film delivered. A quick Google search found me this store. Their byline obviously raises the bar of expectations. When I walked in there were 3 employees - the oldest of which MIGHT have been 20 years old and one of them was on his cell phone when I walked in and never looked up the entire time I was there. I told the teenage boy working I needed 2 rolls of film developed and wanted double prints. He told me he'd have to go ask his manager how to do the double print portion of the job. When he returned, rang me up and told me the price I was a little shocked. $75 for 2 rolls of film - and they'd be back in THREE WEEKS! When I jokingly said - "Where in the world are they developed that it takes so long and costs so much?" The boy waiting on me said "I don't know - somewhere in California." Then the mop topped manager chimed in "There the same price everywhere you go man." First of all - as a paying customer - I'm not "man" - "sir" maybe - but "man"? Save that for your buddies or your dorm mates. These guys were so unprofessional I told my daughter to sell her non-digital camera and move on. Terrible.

Amazing amazing!! I had the best customer experience from the staff member Stephanie, who through out the entire experience never once told me she was the manager, she was extremely humble and so dedicated to helping me understand what camera would best suit my needs. You don’t find such pride and passion to helping customers now a days. I will definitely be going back for all my other camera needs. I just hope that Stephanie will be there. If you are new to the camera industry I would highly recommend seeking out Stephanie to assist you with your camera needs or wants. Henry’s if you are reading this, do not loose such a highly customer centric associate. Now let’s talk about the store, there is so much that for a novice buyer like me I was overwhelmed and slightly anxious but I was guided accordingly and I feel my purchase will immerse me into the world of cameras. Henry’s also offers classes on Thursday’s to help individuals like myself to learn about the types and modes of cameras. Overall excellent service.
