It was getting colder & starting to snow a bit so our expectations were for a short chilly stay. Instead, it was a great visit - we joined 2 of Mitchell's tours, got to taste two of the many ways to appreciate the village. Extra sweetened with a sprinkle of the passion & knowledgeableness of the staff. Well worth a visit, or multiple visits to get to experience all the stories and perspectives of the village. “I went in late with friends on a Saturday, the staff was friendly and very passionate about their products. Unfortunately the cask strength rye whisky, which I was really hoping to try, was sold out, but we tried several other whiskies and moonshine. I was genuinely impressed with their single malts, they weren't harshly oaked (ie. tannic) like other similarly priced Canadian premium whiskies. They were pleasant on both the nose and palate, and as someone who enjoys craft whisky, I would highly recommend their single malts. Their other whiskies and moonshine were tasty and competitively priced.”

“I was shopping here because it was the only store in the province who had the liquor I was looking for. Like I child in a candy store, I went in for one item and walked out with dozens. Staff were extremely helpful, and I believe management went out of their way to search for one specific item I was looking for and for a while, but took a shot to ask and they tried finding it for me, but with no success.”
“One of my favourite places to grab beer. The have a big selection to choose from, and the store is large itself. The location is also very conveniently located beside costco and an lcbo. The employees are the best! They are very polite, and helpful. The store is always clean, and easy to navigate through while chosing a drink for the evening!”

“This LCBO is one of the smaller ones within the area and if you're looking for just a quick bottle of wine, liquor or cooler, you can find it there. It's convenient and it's close to the shoppers, so if you need to do some shopping in that area, that's the place to go.”

“Finally they have Reid's Gin. I've been bugging them for years to stock Canada's best gin and for whatever reason they wouldn't bring it in. I tried through the staff, the website, the LCBO request for this location. So many terrible gins at this location so lacking Ried's was really bizarre. I no longer have to order delivery directly from the distiller!”
