I called AGR as my stereo receiver was broken and the owner said he could likely fix it. When I got there, he knew exactly what the issue was and quoted me $80. I told him that I really only need the aux to work (not the cd player) and then quoted me $20. He got it done in 2hrs and called me right when he finished. Very fast service and a great price!

The owner is a nice, honest guy, but he is also very unorganized and unreliable. I should have learned after the first time I visited and he took 3months to tell me my record player couldn't be fixed. Thought I'd give him a second chance with my speaker, but it's now been 1 month and I haven't heard back from him. Originally I was told he'd try to let me know what was wrong with my speaker a few days after dropping it off. Currently he hasn't returned my calls, and is only in the shop 3 days a week, so he can be hard to get a hold of. Never again....

Looks can be deceiving, the store front maybe messy but they get the job done. My 60" Sony TV back light died. They were able to diagnose the problem and quote the repair within 3 days and had it fixed in an addition 2 for a total of a 5 day turn around time. They were quick to answer the phone whenever I called and were very polite.

I recently had my Samsung NU7100 smart tv fixed at this place. My tv suddenly went 'black' despite hearing some off-and-on audio. I bought the tv from Bestbuy just 13months ago (that's just 1 month over the 1 year warranty) but the Samsung authorized service center doesn't accept the warranty anymore because it's already 1 month expired. Although this place is not so well-organized, the person running it (Joe) is one of the 'MOST HONEST' guy I have ever dealt with!When I brought my tv, he told me that he will assess the damage and he will call me the next day to tell me what needs to be fixed plus the estimate of the total cost of repair. If I agree with it, he will go ahead. Otherwise, I can just get my tv back without paying any diagnostic costs. The next day, he called to inform me that the main board needed replacement and that it would cost $$$ for the parts and services. End of the story, I got my tv fixed. He also gave me 3 months warranty for the main board plus service and even agreed to extend it up to 5 months!I noticed that he is not the usual kind of 'repair guy' who just care about the money. He really will tell you upfront if fixing your tv is worth it or just go buy a new one.
