“We ordered the Concept Design Parametric Wall Art size 40” x 70” in white MDF. The detailing in the design is flawless and the packing of both crates for the shipment was amazing! We installed it ourselves on a high wall over the staircase. Once we got the 3 panels up it was so easy to place the 68 strips. Each one is numbered! This is definitely a showpiece that we are proud to have in our home. The pictures do not do this justice as it is more beautiful from every angle. With the variation of the shadows in the daytime and with the evening lights, it takes on a whole different look. It is stunning.”
“Maybe the best hardware-store service in Toronto.Love this little store and its staff.Always helpful and ready to help you find whatever you need - and for such a small store, it has a lot of things you might not expect to find there (we found a great pepper mill/grinder) there are Lightbulbs, hardware, keys, duct tape, nails, fixtures, tools and tool belts, gloves… ?The prices may be a bit higher than some other [unnamed bargain] stores, but the friendly helpful service makes up for that - especially if you need some assistance or advice.Highly Recommend if you want a good old fashioned hardware store.”

“Since 2020 we have been shopping at Kolani Kitchen & Bath on Cawthra for bathroom renovations. We have had exceptional customer service from both Khalid and Raman over the years, and highly recommend this place to everyone. We are extremely happy with everything purchased there (Virta vanities, Toto toilets, Riobel faucets) and with unbeatable pricing. With the most recent purchases, Raman made sure we had the products delivered in good timing. She is a great communicator. Very professional, patient, and always there to help. Just excellent!”

“Doors are lovely, but we were left with additional work when done.We had Grinyer replace 11 doors in our home. Communication throughout the process was minimal and somewhat unclear. The doors themselves are beautiful but our installation team and sales service were disappointing. Installation team left multiple dents/scratches in our newly painted walls, along with wood debris throughout our carpet. Our barn door was installed on the wrong side of a passageway, leaving large holes in a concrete wall. Many of the doors did not fit right. It took multiple follow-ups with the sales team to have corrective action in place. Thankfully the owner and lead installer were able to come and reinstall the doors. They now fit perfectly, as expected. They were very apologetic and addressed many of our concerns. Customer experience seems to depend on who you deal with.Updated to 4 stars from 3. Issues were resolved in a timely manner. Thank you for your assistance and communication Larry!”
“The guy Mechanic in the Tool Rental department of Home Depot at Kipling and Bethridge his name is Fred, he is in my opinion one of the most knowledgeable and helpful employees I've had the experience of meeting. My weeder I bought was not working well. He took the time to look at it and advise me best on it. And renting my cultivator was a breeze. Thanks to Fred and the other guys there I am on my way to grow a successful garden this year!!!!”

“Old school Home Hardware in old school Toronto building. Old floors and narrow isles packed with as much product as they can jam in there. It's a classic Toronto experience in local neighbourhood kind of way. The folks working here are great. They will help you find what you are looking for. You can also order items that are not stocked in this store. These people actually answer the phone unlike big box stores. Overall this is a great Home Hardware Store with mostly great employees.”

“Great selection of items in a residential neighbourhood. But the big thing I love about Bastone is their key cutting. I have had keys cut at Walmart so many times and they never actually work. Here the keys are cut perfectly the first time, every time.”
“Great experience here. Was having a home reno at home, got my materials from here! I bought some stuff & it was a technical error from their end of measurement and they returned it rigt away. The guy with glasses and one with short hair, great help & great customer service! They refunded it right away understanding it was an error on their end even if the other employee with no hair was saying no at first. Overall, good place and always having a good sale too!”
