“Great butcher, great selection of meats and great quality. I purchased some chicken breasts and was pleased to know that the chickens were Mennonite chickens and tasted great! Another huge plus for me is that they have a big vacuum sealer and will vacuum seal my meats individually which worked out fantastically for lunch prep. The prices are reasonable as well, if you're looking for a good butcher in Woodbridge, I would not look any further. Mario the owner is very friendly and funny so it's always a good time stopping by his place.”

“A friend recommended this place to us, my husband has been there a few times before me and comes back rattling wonders about it.I had to come see it myself, well, he was right. The place is CLEAN, very organize and maintained, you can tell they follow excellent cleaning procedures and storage of their meats.They have a great meat selection, top cuts such as Australian wagyu, Tomahawk, Picanha steak, etc. great Argentinian cuts too.Prices are reasonable and excellent customer service.Must visit!”

“It was my very first time visiting this store today, and everything about it was spot-on enough, that I’ll be more than stoked to patron them again.This store is extremely clean & well organized, and although they offer dozens of what seemed to be craft products (sauces), all of these products were neatly organized and well displayed.I was only looking for a couple of freshly made delicious burgers today, and ROAST most certainly came through. These beef steak patties were very tasty, and they hit the spot being cooked medium (I’ll cook them medium rare now that I trust this shop). Sooooo tasty!I’ve recently moved in the ‘hood and am glad that I found ROAST on St Clair W.I’m stoked to return to try all their goodies; from meats to sauces!”

“Been going to this butcher shop since mine closed down 9 years ago. I've tried other butchers closer to me and was not thrilled with the quality. Than I stumbled upon this place. This place is top notch when it comes to friendly and knowledgeable staff. Ali and Kevin are amazing at their craft, they can get whatever product you want and prepare it as desired. Susan's baked goods are delicious. Everything is fresh and price wise, it's not cheap however you get exactly what you pay for. You can't expect to buy a steak here for No Frills pricing with their quality. I've recommended this place to everyone I know for high quality proteins. AAA grade indeed. Try the in-house seasoning for your protein, you will not be disappointed.”

“The “daily hot sandwiches” sign stopped me right in my tracks. I have never been able to resist a good sandwich advertisement, which was definitely hot. The fact that the shop is not a restaurant made it so that the fried chicken went from the fryer to my mouth in about 30 seconds. It might’ve been the juiciest and freshest chicken sandwich I have ever had. Ordered the fried pickles as well. I will not lie; I might’ve needed a little help with them, but it was still such a fun snack to have on the side.Food aside, there are very few homey / neighborhood / independent butcher shops like it left in the city, and I hope more people give it a chance.”

“Came to buy a whole lamb. It is on sale. They cut it up for me and did a great job. The only thing is you take a number, and once served, they tell you to go pay, then come back, and we'll cut it for you. Also, I was disappointed that it didn't come with the head or liver. If I had known this before I drove here, I wouldn't have purchased it.”

“I was there last week looking to buy chicken legs and some salmon, and the Asian guy working there refused to serve me, he sent me to wait for the seafood guy who was with another customer, after 5 or so minutes it was my turn, he was super polite and knowledgeable . During our conversation I could hear the same Asian employee and another man around the same age start arguing and yelling at each other. I hope the owners put a stop to this, BTW the salmon was great”
“I go here all the time. I buy a massive flintstone steak for about $20-25. Inch and a half thick. They have 100 different kinds of steak rub.They have pretty much anything you want including some inique items. This is the best place to go if you're a Meat Lover!”
