“The hotel was clean, the breakfast was delicious, and the room very comfortable. The A/C worked well. The complimentary lemon water in the lobby was appreciated. I would easily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great hotel in Albany.
The only downside I can think of was the location of the toilet paper in the bathroom - it was difficult to twist my arm back to access it in time of need - as it was located on the same wall as the back of the toilet.”

“Ended up here cause we wanted to find a hotel with availability that allowed our dog, had parking for a truck and trailer, and was close to a bar we could get a drink after a long day of driving. We had a great stay. When we called to arrange a room we went straight to the front desk and not some answering service with no knowledge of the hotel itself. All the staff were super friendly. They had a treat for our dog on arrival. There was a Denny’s with a lounge within walking distance and they were very accommodating with the size of our vehicle. The room was big with a little kitchen-ish/seating area separate from the bed area. The breakfast was pretty good for a free continental hotel breakfast (peppers in the hash was a nice touch). We didn’t use the pool and weight room and it was nice they were an option. We would definitely stay again.”

“The location was great! I was attending an event at the Expo Center and it was only a few minutes away. The staff were also excellent: very friendly and efficient, and the breakfast was one of the best I’ve had at a hotel. My room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Five stars on all of those fronts.

The only thing I wanted to mention for management’s awareness was the noise level in the room I stayed in (Room 201). Since it’s right off the lobby and near the pool entrance, there was quite a bit of foot traffic and conversation outside the room, which I understand given it was a busy weekend. The bigger issue was that the room also shares a wall with the elevator, and the noise from that was very loud and pretty constant.

I’m usually a very deep sleeper, but between the elevator and lobby noise, the room was rarely very quiet, and I cant say I had the most restful stay because of this. I know this may just be specific to this room—others in my group said their rooms were nice and quiet. I don’t usually write reviews, but I wanted to share the feedback in case it’s helpful for management. It might be worth considering a different use for that particular room.”

“The Albany Motel 6 exceeded our expectations the booking staff at the front desk or cheerful and helpful. The rooms were clean and larger than expected. The beds were firm and not lumpy. The rooms were quiet and fairly priced. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and hope to come again.”

Let me tell you, that was NOT my experience here! Unique crescent shaped 2 story bldg with 1st floor being sunk half below parking lot level & 2nd floor around 6-8 steps above parking lot. My room on the 2nd floor very clean & much larger than I expected. The shower was good, large refrigerator, microwave, nice TV, A/C with remote control, no sign of any bugs, quiet the one night I was there (Saturday)
The woman I talked to when booking the room and when I checked in was extremely friendly and helpful, she told me if there was anything that I needed to call her and just seemed to be a really good human.
All in all I was impressed!”

“GrandDaughters wedding, this motel was just what we needed. We stayed 3 nights. Front desk was very helpful and let us check in early with no extra charge. Breakfast was very good w/eggs, biscuits and gravy, fruit, waffles, hardboiled eggs, yorgurt, cereal, muffins, coffee, juice and toast. Outdoor pool and hottub, grandkids loved them both. Rooms were just right size, clean and beds comfortable.”
