“Wow! This is one of the best bed and breakfasts I have ever visited, and I've been to many all over the world. The warmth of the host Anna (Brian was traveling), the amazing breakfasts and garden-like setting, all of the details were so great. Anna even accommodated plugging in our EV. Highly recommend making your stay here!Nearby activities: Book first, then use their discount to get tickets to the Shakespeare festival!Food & drinks: Don't miss the gourmet breakfast and the cookies that are available all-day.Noteworthy details: Anna gave wonderful recommendations on local restaurants, etc. So delicious! We loved our stay in Ashland.”

“My wife and I celebrated her birthday in one of the wonderful cabins. We enjoyed the stay so much. The cabin was well equipped, comfortable and very private. It was just a short drive from there to great snow shoeing, which was what my wife wanted to do. The kitchen was completely adequate for us to prepare great meals. We plan to return this summer to relax and get some good trail hiking in.Arthur and HeatherNearby activities: Close to great trails, snow shoeing and cross country skiing”

“This hotel was perfect for me. I travelled, unbeknownst to me, on the eve of a storm to this motel, planning to stay there as a waypoint on my journey south. There a kindly young woman was waiting at the front desk to greet me, and I found I was one of the few brave travelers who had ventured out that night, as most rooms were vacant. But it was the middle of January right before a major storm started to move in, and vacancy signs lit the roads of Ashland that night.Yet what set this inn apart from the others was nothing of greatness. The rooms, large and warm and soft, were well decorated. A table and chairs and fridge and microwave created a miniature kitchen. Yet I lacked food, but, my googling of nearby restaurants revealed that, but a mere 20 second walk from my rooms door, did exist a pizza place of such deliciousness that I know I must visit Ashland ere too long. I ordered, and removed myself to my room, I returned not but 20 minutes later and a pizza of such taste and texture never had I tasted before. I feasted in my room, and then fell into a wonderful sleep.I awoke, well rested, to a piling of snow upon my car and roads. And I had to away too soon from this lovely abode, but I think of it often, and in high spirits.”

“We stayed in the Studio for one night in order to catch "The Tempest" playing at the very walkable Shakespeare Festival. The pictures on the website don't do this little gem justice. The space is so much more than a "studio." There's a sitting area, a small living room, a dining table, a "kitchen area" with coffee, microwave, and full sized refrigerator, plus a bathroom. The bedroom has its own doors that close, which we love because we never sleep at the same time. Anyway, this spot is amazing. And Donna treated us just like upscale Airbnb guests; always available by text. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.”

“The guy who works nights here during the week is an absolute gem. He went out of his way to help with some of our unusual requests. I know we can be a real handful, but he made it a 5 star experience. You really get what you pay for. ?Rooms: Very niceNoteworthy details: Front counter staff A+”

“I was pleasantly surprised by the way the inside of the rooms looked, they all have been updated and they were very nice inside, not too mention the manager was very helpful, Jim had the heater on in the room and everything was clean and the price was very reasonable, almost to good to be true especially for the location. It's too bad there weren't any good plays this year, normally one of my favorite things to do, but that has nothing to do with the motel .I love the idea of having a place to cook because I am picky about the food I can eat and I love to cook:) so definitely a plus. Not to mention I was able to have a room with a bathtub and they even had a BBQ that we were able to borrow. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to rent for a night or definitely a extended vacation. They really care about the guests and our experience with them and not to mention there is a on site laundry room that is not coin operated which I think is a huge plus, I really appreciate everything they did for us and will keep this place as a favorite for Ashland. Thank you so much for your generosity and help during our stay ❤️ ? ♥️”

“We stay at Cedarwood yearly for the OSF. When we first stayed, the rooms were looking a bit shabby. Under the new owner, the accommodations have had a face lift in the past couple of years and are quite nice for the price. I just made our reservations for 2024 (2 rooms- 4 people). Apparently, there are more enhancements to the property for us to look forward to.The rooms are clean, the location is perfect for our adventures in the area and definitely well located for the OSF. We will continue to stay at the Cedarwood again and again.Rooms: The rooms have perked up quite a bit.Nearby activities: The Cedarwood is conveniently located for the OSF and to Hwy 99 for us to visit nearby activities (i.e. Wine Tasting, Miniature Golf, Harry & David, the Jet Boats, Restaurants)”

“We’ve been coming to Ashland for 20 years and we don’t look around for a B&B anymore because this is our absolute favorite after trying at least 10 others . They’ve all been wonderful but the owner here is so personable and the property and the food are hard to beat . This is our perfect oasis . I posted a few photos of our breakfasts so you can see what I mean”

“Peerless is charming and eclectic, and historic! We came in the front door and were greeted by a warm crackling fire in the fireplace! Which is where we chose to sit and enjoy champagne! This was our 3rd stay, I think? The first stay, we were upstairs and the room was tight, but who cares! It was warm, comfy and only one night. Easy to manage with a small "carry on" bag. We have now been in Room 1 and 2 downstairs - love them both! They are roomier and the bedding is luscious! The common areas are inviting and we walk everywhere and take in a nice dinner and a play. I called the hotel once, and was answered right away! We love the air bnb style check in! Parking is a cinch, the Peerless Restaurant is next door. We could not ask for more! Until next time ...Larry and Julie”

“I have been coming up to Howard Prairie since 1968. We have not visited since Jackson County took over. It was sad to see that the campground was empty, but this is normal since the lake level was low and they were transitioning to the new marina. The only negative was the store was only open on the weekend. We had to change sites due to a clogged sewer line. The campground hosts were very understanding and gave us a couple of options. Campsites were clean and fairly level and I look forward to coming back in 2024. I also need to add that the lake level was caused by the damn work and low rain/snow over the past couple of years.”

“This place was great, the rooms were so clean and comfortable! I would've felt safe eating off the floor! ? We stayed on Thursday - Friday, the breakfast was a nice balance and a great energy boost first thing in the morning. The staff are all EXTREMELY polite, a very nice man who works there wished us a good morning and recommended me a coffee shop when I paused him checking on some housekeepers. The front desk was full of smiles. The pool was warm and they have a hot tub!! Overall will be staying here again if not for the great rooms but the amazing staff!”

“The location is great with an easy on/off the hwy. The views are amazing, from every window you see the mountains. The rooms are clean but dated, TV service was bad but it's basic cable. The pillows are too soft for my taste and I needed every single one of them to sleep. But we slept good in a cool comfy room. The price is good for the area, we stayed 2 nights 3 days. We spent $150 for our stay.Breakfast is provided and they have a good selection. We took a piece of fruit and muffin with us for our hike at Lithia Park. Breakfast is served from 6am to 9:30am so you have plenty of time to eat before starting your day. The hard boiled eggs run out fast, lol. So get there early.Great parking lot, very well lit and felt safe to be out at 2am smoking a cig. There is a sitting area on the side closes to hwy for smokers to chill. That was nice and private. They have a great pool room that is not near any rooms so it is open 24hrs a day. LOVE THIS!! The hot tub and pool are kinda worn down a bit but still clean and very enjoyable. There is a shower so you can rinse off before and after swimming. They always had Fresh towels. There is a patio to hang out on when the weather is nice. It was cold out so we did not use the patio area. The employees were very nice. BUT.. Housekeeping skipped us on day two and did not bring more supplies such as shampoo, conditions and towels but when i spoke with front desk he provided me with what I needed. It would have been nice to come back after a long day of hiking to a CLEAN FRESH ROOM. Trash needed taken out and fresh towels etc... Housekeeping should have gotten written up for that, NOT COOL!!!!Breakfast includedFree parkingIndoor pool and hot tubeElevator and handicapped accessible”
