“Went and stayed here for a night away and it was absolutely beautiful. The private spa tub was exactly what I needed to melt away my stress. It’s very cute and cozy!”

“We stayed at the Palm Motel while at a preview day at SOU. The location was ideal, literally across the street. And we loved this cute, friendly, funky little motel... The room was clean, quiet and spacious, the kitchenette was a big plus, and the beds were so comfortable... We will absolutely stay here again if my kid ends up at SOU.”

“This is an amazing Bed and Breakfast. The hosts, Jacqui and Billy, are so kind and recommended several sights to see. The food is outstanding! We met so many interesting people and will definitely be back soon!”

“Beautiful vintage home and lushly landscaped property. Welcoming and friendly reception. Oak Hill Bed & Breakfast is the epitome of a B&B experience! It was everything that a B&B should be and sadly so often is not.

First of all, generous off street parking (rare in Ashland). Quiet, slept well through the night in a very comfortable bed with luxury sheets. And then we made custom coffee drinks from their very fancy espresso machine. Breakfast was outstanding (pancakes made with Masa flour, yum!) and nicely served on the patio. Really, every detail is worth mentioning right down to the mini-rubber ducky and bath salts for the bathtub.

There is a plethora of local guides, books and information to keep you occupied while in the Ashland area. Anna also gave us her recommendation for a restaurant for dinner which was spot-on for us pre-theater.

There was so much more that we weren’t able to take advantage of. We will certainly try to stay with Oak Hill again in the future.”

“My family has been staying at the Timbers off and on for over eight years. We’ve stayed elsewhere in Ashland (at always a higher price!), but eventually would return to the Timbers because of its location and pleasant staff.

BUT THAT WAS IN THE PAST!!!! We were delighted during our recent stay to experience the renovated Timbers with new paint, upgraded television stations, refreshed rooms, and a redesigned pool area. My wife has never liked the pool there in the past, but was the first one in this time. The staff was wonderfully friendly and helpful, letting us into our room early which was a great relief after a long drive in the heat. And all of this at a price still far below the other Ashland hotels/motels within walking distance to downtown. Plus it’s close to SOU, coffee shops, and a great grocery store. We will definitely be back.

Congratulations to the new owners/managers - your investment is clearly visible and greatly appreciated by us!”

“Buckhorn Springs is a unique venue in southern Oregon. There is nothing else like it...nestled in the midst of the natural world...creeks, mountains, forest, trails and open meadows. I've been to many group retreats here but it's also great for solo time.A big thank you to the new owners who are caring for the place in such a wonderful way, maintaining the legacy of all that is special about it.”

“The property has undeniable charm with its half-timbered façade and beautifully mature landscaping. Despite being close to the freeway, it feels like a peaceful oasis. We slept with the windows open instead of using the AC, and while we could faintly hear the freeway in the distance, the sound was soft and far less intrusive than the hum of the air conditioner. One of the greatest perks is the Tesla Supercharger located right next to the hotel - an incredibly convenient feature for EV drivers. Also next door is the Caldera Brewery, which serves a solid selection of beers, including some good sours.”

“I was pleasantly surprised by the way the inside of the rooms looked, they all have been updated and they were very nice inside, not too mention the manager was very helpful, Jim had the heater on in the room and everything was clean and the price was very reasonable, almost to good to be true especially for the location. It's too bad there weren't any good plays this year, normally one of my favorite things to do, but that has nothing to do with the motel .I love the idea of having a place to cook because I am picky about the food I can eat and I love to cook:) so definitely a plus. Not to mention I was able to have a room with a bathtub and they even had a BBQ that we were able to borrow. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to rent for a night or definitely a extended vacation. They really care about the guests and our experience with them and not to mention there is a on site laundry room that is not coin operated which I think is a huge plus, I really appreciate everything they did for us and will keep this place as a favorite for Ashland. Thank you so much for your generosity and help during our stay ❤️ ? ♥️”

“Our stay at the Peerless historic hotel was nothing short of magical. From the moment we walked in, it felt as though we had been transported to a quieter, more charming era—yet with all the comforts you’d hope for. The twin soaking tubs were an absolute highlight, perfect for unwinding together and adding a uniquely romantic touch to our stay.

We loved spending time in the beautiful sun parlor(pictured), which quickly became our favorite spot. With its cozy coffee and tea bar and a variety of games, it created the ideal atmosphere for relaxing, reconnecting, and simply enjoying the moment.

One of the best surprises was the absence of a TV in the room. Instead of background noise, we had uninterrupted quality time—something we didn’t realize we needed as much as we did.

Quiet, intimate, and full of character, this hotel offers a refreshing escape from the everyday and a truly memorable experience.”

“We stayed in the Studio for one night in order to catch "The Tempest" playing at the very walkable Shakespeare Festival. The pictures on the website don't do this little gem justice. The space is so much more than a "studio." There's a sitting area, a small living room, a dining table, a "kitchen area" with coffee, microwave, and full sized refrigerator, plus a bathroom. The bedroom has its own doors that close, which we love because we never sleep at the same time. Anyway, this spot is amazing. And Donna treated us just like upscale Airbnb guests; always available by text. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.”

“Didar and his crew offered such a memorable experience at the Cedarwood Inn. Me and my roommates are moving up to Ashland; so after a long day of meeting different people, applying for jobs and looking for housing, it was always so refreshing to come back to our room. The room itself felt welcoming and homey, just the place we needed to regroup and relax after our adventures.
Didar also helped us LOOK for housing out of the kindness of heart, and he himself is an incredible person. Always there to help, and cares for each customer like a friend. Genuinely one of the best experiences I’ve had at an Inn, and I would recommend anyone who’s visiting in Ashland to stay at Cedarwood Inn. 5 stars all around the board AND free breakfast!!!!”

“Stayed 1 night enroute to southern CA from WA. Booked on recommendation of friend. Easy check-in, huge clean room, comfortable beds, hot shower with great water pressure, double sink, and a nice view of hills. 5 mins off of I-5 and a short drive to center of town. Loved the retro vibe. Would definitely stay here again.”

“We just stayed here with my daughter and her two children 15 and 5. What a fun, well persevered, hotel. We walked to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in 5 minutes.
Very friendly staff. Would stay again.”

“This hotel is very simple and sweet. The hot tub is small but adequate. The poop room was enjoyable. Breakfast was yogurt bar and toast which was perfect. Great coffee actually, normally I can't say that about hotel coffee. Front desk staff and breakfast lady were all so helpful and kind. I would return!”

“Half way stop over, we found this motel to be very affordable and were pleasantly surprised just how nice it is. Renovated with tasteful decor of a much nicer price point: really nice mattress, bedding and duvet. Even the plantation blinds and bathroom finishes are above expectations. Clean pool. Will definitely stay here again when traveling to Portland.”

“Loved it!! And for the price they offer- it is amazing
However the breakfast was okayish.. but I don’t really care about it.

“Nicest Choice hotel I've ever been in. Smelled great the minute you walk in the door. Bed was cozy. Breakfast was the norm but they had chocolate waffles and good yogurt choices. Tub drain was clogged with hair and side door into hotel didn't lock but I reported them so I hope they fix them. I would definitely stay here again.”

“What a lovely hotel. Terrific value. Wonderful decor, comfy, unique appliances. It is definitely a place that delivers value. It has its own atmosphere, which is non-corporate and uplifting. Will be back!”

“Went camping June 2025 here for the first time. It’s a great place. Loved the store had hand scooped ice cream. There’s a small restaurant and we got chicken strips and Fries and Fish n chips.

Brought out 3 dogs and our camping spot was right on the shore of the lake.

We enjoyed fishing off of the dock.

Not great cell service. It’s a great way to unplug”

“Cheap, clean, decent bed. Non-functioning air conditioner that turned off indefinitely after one compressor cycle and refused to do any more compressor cycles if not turned off or switched back to fan only for 10 minutes.
Thin-ish walls, despite being concrete sounds carried.
Nice staff.
Decent for what you pay.”
