Astoria Co+op is a down-to-earth community store celebrating its 50th year. It is now located in a big, bright spot on the main road. The store offers a very good and well-edited selection of products, including produce, packaged vegan food, frozen foods, beer, and your usual assortment of vegan snacks and dairy alternatives. While the selection is not wide and can be a bit pricey, it is adequate for grocery needs and recommended for organic, non-GMO, vegetarian, vegan, and natural food. The store features a quick lunch and dinner section with an amazing salad bar, hot food bar, burrito bar, and grab-and-go items like salads, sandwiches, hot soups, and in-house baked goods. The burrito bar includes vegan el pastor, vegan cheese, and cashew crema. Some note the hot food selection is limited and that vegetarian options are intermingled with meat options. The employees are noted as the most friendliest and very willing to help. It is described as a really nifty place on the coast.
Plenty of vegan options. The burrito bar has vegan el pastor, vegan cheese, cashew crema, and all the fixins. Ours turned out very good - Not quite hot enough, but filling and flavorful. They also have vegan soup/salad, grab and go foods, and your usual assortment of vegan snacks and dairy alternatives.

Very good selection of products, including veggies, fruit and packaged vegan food. But, as typical of co-ops, it's expensive, even if you're a member. Still, nice to have a store with lots of vegan options.
