About The Herondale Hotel
Astoria Crest Motel is a clean, well-maintained, and reasonably priced motel with a million dollar view of the Columbia River gorge and bridge. Many rooms, the outside patio seating, the hot tub, and the inside dining room offer this gorgeous, amazing view, perfect for sunsets. The rooms are very comfortable, often featuring a sliding patio door leading to seating. The motel provides a hot breakfast, parking, and accepts dogs. Additional amenities include a campfire and laundry facilities. The staff is described as wonderful, helpful, and great. While the room setup can sometimes be a little strange, the balcony views make up for any small flaws. The location on a hill offers beautiful views but is not within walking distance to downtown, requiring a car. It is noted as a quiet, charming gem of a spot with great prices.
We loved our stay at the Herondale. The rooms are freshly renovated. They were working on landscaping while we were there. It will be a beautiful experience when all finished. I wish we lived closer, so that we could visit more often.

Despite the construction, this was a wonderful room. Everything was brand new. Loved having a smart TV I could airplay to. The rain shower was divine. The Salt & Stone shampoo and conditioner in the room were top notch. I can't wait to return here and see everything after the construction is complete!
