Hours: Bonsai Hollow is a west coast game store with a great selection of everything needed for Magic The Gathering, Pokemon, and D&D. It offers over 1000 different Pop Funko figures, with a back room containing a ton that cover all the walls, though the lighting could be improved. The shop has a fun room of several different interesting puzzles not found in big stores. It boasts an amazing selection of dice, including tiny travel sets, amazing metal dice, and even a massive metal 100-sided dice, plus a small selection of stuffed animals and anime figurines. For Pokemon cards, there is a large selection with a variety of boosters from Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and English, including ETBs, blisters, bundles, and collection boxes. Prices are noted as better than most other shops and competitive, though some mention they are slightly higher than in Portland. A significant concern is the sale of fake Chinese counterfeit cards on an entire shelf, which may fool the untrained eye. The Magic The Gathering selection is really nice with super fun boosters at really competitive prices, and all MTG content seems to be legit. They also have a lot of affordable options for Dragon Shield sleeves, deck boxes, and playmats, though some accessories seem to come from cheap third-party sellers. Customer service experiences vary. Some find the staff super chill and the service amazing, with one instance of a worker giving a customer a card. Others describe service as meh, noting workers were preoccupied. The shop is highly recommended for collectibles, especially Pokemon sealed product, and is considered a go-to card shop.
