We had such a perfect day here.
Super nice host, Pam & Dave, great house, nice room, and delicious breakfast.
I could see their kindness and love every corner in the house. They put hot water for tea and hot choco. And you can save your leftover in the fridge in the living room.
Our room was River which had a great view, phew what a great and soothing bed, and hot water works so well. So we had great shower and bath.
Highly recommend and if we visit Astoria, we will stay here definitely again

We had a really nice experience at Pam and Dave's lovely home. The home is well taken care of, has loads of antiques and interesting wall hangings and collections. The hosts are friendly and easy to talk with. We met some other guests and had nice chats with them. The breakfast is delicious!

A beautiful little bed and breakfast run by a lovely couple who are passionate about the area. Stayed here for one night to kick off a road trip down the coast and it was one of if not the best place I stayed the whole trip. The rooms are charming, unique, and so comfortable. The included breakfast was fresh and absolutely delicious, perfect for warming you up on those cool mornings. If I'm ever back in the area I will only be staying here

My husband and I stayed here for one night and it was incredible! The outside of the home welcomes you with a beautiful garden. The owners are very nice and accommodating. Our room had a sunroom with windows that opened and a view of the ocean - you could even watch the ships passing by! They had coffee and tea available all day long and served us a delicious breakfast. The location was great - we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Would highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone exploring Astoria!
(Side note: I saw a previous review mentioning the smell, personally I didn’t notice any sort of smell during my stay).

The house itself was really cute! Beautiful garden. Breakfast was great and the owners were really nice. Unfortunately there was a really bad smell in the entire home. I can only describe it as fermenting smell. I’m hopeful it was not mold but I found it very odd. We kept the windows open all night to air out the smell. Honestly had I known I would’ve cancelled or booked elsewhere.

Thank you Pamela and Dave for such an amazing stay! The home and garden were absolutely beautiful, we could tell each room had a lot of love and thought put into them. Both breakfasts we stayed for were delicious! We hope to be back soon!

The first time I stayed here was on a date. I know what you’re thinking… who goes on a trip to the coast, on a date? Well, my friend Dan did and that went spectacularly awful and resulted in him stranded at the beach for a weekend… but, he came out of it with a great story! So my thoughts were… go on a beach date! What are the odds you’ll also get ditched? If you do - then maybe you and Dan should go out.One of my favorite things about the Rose River Inn is the lack of tv’s. Our room did have a tiny one tucked away, but when I’m on vacation the last thing I want is a tv staring at me while I’m trying to decompress from screens. The location is perfect, centrally located and there’s lot of free street parking nearby. The decor screams of that whimsical Aunt named Taylor with too many cats and a love of everything vintage. So I felt right at home. Oh! I’d be remiss to forget to add that the tubs… the tubs are magnificent, oversized, clawfoot masterpieces. So be sure to bring some bubbles, whether for soaking or drinking.Story Update: I did not get ditched, and so far we’re living happily ever after. I’m not with Dan though, but we’re still friends.

No air conditioning like Google Maps claims and I can't seem to edit, and unfortunately it was a day of record heat. To be clear, I think I'd be more surprised if it did have it given that it's an old house and should be rarely needed (it may be different on the third floor). But besides that, it is indeed a great place inside and out. Rooms are nicely decorated, some have excellent views of downtown and the river, and the location is excellent, back in the neighborhood yet only a few blocks from downtown. Multiple wireless networks available for use.The hosts are indeed delightful, and breakfast was nice. Fruit bowel with available yogurt and granola, quiche, small desert and orange juice. Made sure to have a carafe of filtered water in the room upon arrival. Also, they let me stay in a more expensive room (with view) at no extra charge.

Perfect for a quick Astoria Oregon getaway. Our room surprisingly large, was clean, and the bed was ver comfortable. Nice views with large windows that open for a cool breeze.
