Shift + Wheeler is a must-visit in Astoria. The staff is friendly, helpful, and extremely gracious. The store is adorable, with thoughtful, well constructed goods. They offer beautiful fabric and impeccably made clothing, including suspender dresses and rain jackets. The quality is incredible, though pricey. Everything is made to last, from waxed canvas rain coats to gorgeous canvass and leather bags that are styling yet practical. They have comfy socks, stickers, pins, and a lovely Pride flag. Custom sizing options are available for non-straight sized bodies. The folks there are just plain lovely and happy to share about their work and upcoming classes. Highly recommended.

Great people there, bought a waxed canvas rain coat so far im loving it! It is pricey but it's quality! The socks I got are so comfy too!

This place is a must-visit every time we're in Astoria. After admiring their rain jackets for quite a while, I finally pulled the trigger and couldn't be happier. Friendly and helpful staff, and thoughtful, well constructed goods. Keep up the great work.

I can't wait to go back! I got a sticker and pin, but I wanted to get a crossbody and suspender dress. Next time for sure!!! Nick was delightful and happy to share all the things about their work and upcoming classes. While I don't live in the area I hope I can plan a trip around one of their classes.
