“Having followed Short Wave on Instagram for some time, I was pleased as punch to check them out when I finally made it to Astoria. I have since returned multiple times and it is somehow even cuter in person! They have so many unique goodies whether shopping for a gift or yourself: prints and other artwork, stationary, ceramics (including such cute mugs), art supplies (indigenous handmade paints!), bath and body items (Wato soap, yes please!), housewares, treats, adorable accessories and clothing, etc. Many items are local, too! They are always really friendly and nice in the shop, and it’s just such a pleasure to wander. I honestly think my mom, sisters, and I nearly spent an hour there. If you can, time it so you can check out the Sunday Astoria Farmers market while there. Parking is not great as it’s right in the middle of downtown Astoria, but that’s just the nature of the beast, and worth it!”

“Every time we're in Astoria my girlfriend and I have to swing by. It's always a good time. She buys some cute clothes and I look at the huge skeleton. The customer service is also great!”

“Great little shop that is open later than the rest of the town. There are lots of unique items that even caught my interest. The folks behind the counter were very friendly and eager to assist.”

“I love this place!! It’s so cool the way it’s decorated, and all the freaky but awesome stuff they carry. Everyone there is so nice as well. The man at the cash register is so kind and funny he’s the type of person I’d look up too!”

“Great friendly staff and quality products. I'm happy with my red handmade in the USA suspenders. They have a really great conversation piece in the back, one of the first electric national cash registers.”
