The United States Postal Service provides great and efficient service, with staff that is always helpful. Many have positive experiences, with packages arriving on time or early. The location is a beautiful and gorgeous historical building, where employees may share its history. However, some note issues with mailbox access, especially for shorter individuals, and problems with consistent mail delivery, including receiving mail for incorrect addresses. Street parking is often conveniently available. The location handles domestic and international shipping and seasonal stamps but does not offer eBay printing for prepaid shipping labels.
Before visiting to drop off a postcard on a Sunday, I checked out the USPS site to determine if this location has a self service kiosk. There isn't one near for several towns radius. The lobby was open for me to drop off my post card. It's a beautiful lobby and it's was easy to find the mail slot inside.

I had a few letters in a mailer to forward to my sister. Back at home I have no issue. The Astoria postal worker declared it a package and would have charged 5x what I pay at home.

I have always had a positive experience here. My only complaint is not being able to get a box that isn't on the top row. I am short and have to jump to see if anything is in the mailbox.
