“Whenever I find myself in Bandon, this is my favorite lunch spot. They aren't kidding when they say that you come as a customer and leave as a friend. They really are a friendly bunch, that cares that you are happy with every aspect of your visit. They made this clear to me one afternoon when I mistakenly made an order for my lunch at the wrong location. They went out of their way to make sure that I wasn't held up because of my mistake & that I also wasn't charged for my mistake. After that incident, everyone would call me by my name & knew my usual order & made sure I was taken care of as efficiently as possible.With service that great, they could've phoned in the food with your typical store deli offerings of Jojo's, nacho cheese & chili in a pump for some stale chips or microwaved burgers, & the ubiquitous hot dogs rotating on a contraption. However, they bring a menu offering either smoked pork or creme chicken in their own take on burritos, tacos, & nachos. If you are lucky enough to show up on Wednesday or Friday you'll also have the option of some carne asada to fill your order. Personal favorites for me are The Criminal & Smokey the Pig! Whatever you choose to eat, bring your appetite as they will serve you the fattest burritos your likely to ever try to eat!”

“Always Very Helpful, Always Willing to make special Orders, Requests, best Hot Deli Selections in town. Large selection of wines, Cheeses, specialty Meats, best customer savings program… On hand Butcher for the freshest meats, plus Have Great Meat Sale days too! Produce is also plentiful in Large variety with Many Local & imported Produce for a full year round selection. :)! The Employees Have Always Been Very attentive to ask About my day, if I need any help to find items, or if I forgot one thing while checking out, they Never make you feel bad & quickly offer to Have an employee Bring it to the register:)! Also, they have Propane trade tanks, bottled water refill station, BBQ supplies even Flavored Wood chips for smoking or pellets for treggars(sp), Briquettes, plus wood Burning Items. Fire starters, long matches, Books or sm. & Lg. Boxes of Matches, outdoor protection.. Sunscreens, Bug repellents, ( for persons & Area, plus candles ) All around great way To always Contribute to the community, we Do Tend to Stick to Shopping at McKays Over Yes, Even Over The big coupon deals at either Fred Myers or Safeway in Coos Bay, do make it hard not to Take up the Deals there, However I have Often found that Shopping McKay’s Is just as comparable as any other Location. :)!”

“Great customer service, the woman (I wish I got her name) working on 4/30 was super helpful and helped break down the bar scene and such for the Bandon area as a whole. It was super helpful since I haven't been there for a decade.”

“When I was there ( in spring of 2023) they were closed! I hope they are reopened now!! Why they have not made it into an organic restaurant/bakery is beyond me!!The location is great and everyone loves it especially vegans!!”

“Tried to go to dollar store next door but Google lied and said they were open till 10 anyways.Dollar General was right next door so that was nice.Not the same products.Some things were a little osurprised.Some things were cheap.Do your math and homework”
