“This is a very lovely place. The pictures on the internet don't do it justice. The rooms have ample space and the beds were comfortable. The sink and counter are lovely, as is the sea mural above the beds

A block West you will find a lovely stroll along the bay. Plenty of wonderful eateries, shops and art pieces along a wide and welcoming pier.

I felt very safe walking alone as twilight fell.

What a well maintained, well appointed, comfortable, good smelling place to lay my head. Looking forward to bringing my wife back here.

The front desk met me with warmth and humor. I am more impressed with this property than any I have seen around town.”

“A wonderful local inn that punches far above its price point. The rooms were well equipped, clean, updated, and so very comfortable. The staff was so welcoming and helpful, they knew the area well and were able to provide great recommendations for places to eat and visit. I wish I had chosen to stay here a few nights on my trip because it was so amazing, plus a fresh cooked breakfast each day of your stay”

“This unassuming inn was charming, quaint, and incredibly clean. While we were only there for a night as we passed through town, we felt like it was well stocked and would have been happy to stay there longer. The location was great for our needs, within walking distance of the old town and just a quick drive to the beach.

There is some light highway noise, so consider bringing ear plugs if you are a sensitive sleeper. It didn’t bother us personally. We didn’t experience any other noise issues despite the place appearing to be relatively full.

Definitely a great value and great place to stay. Thanks, La Kris!”

“Gorgeous! Clean! Great location! The BEST bed, very cozy hotel with beautiful details like geraniums, green grass, and salt water toffee. Wore out the kids! Incredible breakfast!! Beach windy, soft sand, huge rocks, lots of room to run, unique! Very friendly staff. Lots of great places to eat within driving minutes. Bring sunglasses and your best hooded windbreaker. Killer photo opportunities. Lots of space for dogs to run and play! Kids loved pool & jacuzzi.”

“Incredible views, hot tub & pool, good price, family run. Really appreciated the presence and genuine human feel of the people I interacted with here. This place was an unexpected highlight of a road trip for me. The rooms we ended up in, overlooking the ocean with a private balcony were just unreal. Felt reminiscent of some Italian coastlines, but in the Oregon flavor of nature.
The room decor was dated and goofy in a typical non-corporate small town way, but even that felt charming.
If what you want is reliable mid-level corporate sterile/cleanliness maybe look elsewhere(I often appreciate that vibe in other settings) but if what you want is to maximize your connection with the awe of the Oregon coastline this place is tops.”

“The Lamplighter is right on the 101, but situated so that the noise is not bad. It appears to be a former motel and is now managed through Vacasa. It's about 0.9 miles away from downtown Bandin or a 20 minute walk / 5 minute drive.

The room is cute and clean and a great value compared to other options in the area. The bathroom is spotless. There are many outlets for charging phones, etc.

Across the street there is: a grocery store, a coffee kiosk, a laundry mat, a Dollar Tree, a Dollar General, a Subway sandwich shop, etc.”
