“Great place to stay. Location is awesome. The owners are really nice people and they went over and above for me. Highly recommend . Can’t wait to come back next year”

“This is a very lovely place. The pictures on the internet don't do it justice. The rooms have ample space and the beds were comfortable. The sink and counter are lovely, as is the sea mural above the beds

A block West you will find a lovely stroll along the bay. Plenty of wonderful eateries, shops and art pieces along a wide and welcoming pier.

I felt very safe walking alone as twilight fell.

What a well maintained, well appointed, comfortable, good smelling place to lay my head. Looking forward to bringing my wife back here.

The front desk met me with warmth and humor. I am more impressed with this property than any I have seen around town.”

“A wonderful local inn that punches far above its price point. The rooms were well equipped, clean, updated, and so very comfortable. The staff was so welcoming and helpful, they knew the area well and were able to provide great recommendations for places to eat and visit. I wish I had chosen to stay here a few nights on my trip because it was so amazing, plus a fresh cooked breakfast each day of your stay”

“This unassuming inn was charming, quaint, and incredibly clean. While we were only there for a night as we passed through town, we felt like it was well stocked and would have been happy to stay there longer. The location was great for our needs, within walking distance of the old town and just a quick drive to the beach.

There is some light highway noise, so consider bringing ear plugs if you are a sensitive sleeper. It didn’t bother us personally. We didn’t experience any other noise issues despite the place appearing to be relatively full.

Definitely a great value and great place to stay. Thanks, La Kris!”

“I stayed here for a week and the staff was AMAZING!!!! They were truly so kind, compassionate, and overall so welcoming. I have a neurological disorder and some days are harder than others. The staff went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable, that I was getting around ok, and always checked on me when I passed by the lobby. The room, hot tub, pool, and fitness center were immaculate! The continental breakfast was DELICIOUS! BEST PLACE TO STAY IN TOWN BY FAR! I don't think I've ever stayed at a place with such amazing service. A 5 star rating is such a disservice, wish I could give this place 10 stars! Thank you for making a stay that usual would be so difficult, much better ❤️ You have my unending gratitude!”

“Solid hotel. It was just a stopover for a night, but we would stay again.

The room was very clean, but I docked it a star for not being perfect.

Biggest complaint, it was a little warm in the room. The entrance was a sliding glass door, so unless you wanted to leave the door to your room open all night to your only option was a small window in the kitchen.

Second biggest complaint, the bed was not the most comfortable, it was a little on the firm side.

Issues out of the way, breakfast way included, it consisted of some refrigeratee sandwiches and burritos, some bagels, yogurt and some fruit.

It was all basically prepacked and not super fresh, but of all the smaller hotels we stayed at, it was better than most.

The night clerk who is checked us in was great, I think his name was Kevin but I can't rightfully remember. Very kind, offered some great advice on things to see and do.

The indoor pool was heated and had a hot tub that was warm, both towels and a changing room in the pool area so you didn't have to walk back wet.

There was a laundry room on site, wash & dry for $2 each.

Last, the tide pools at the beach, directly behind the hotel were among the best we have seen the entire trip.

We stayed in room 212, and it was more or less exactly as pictured.

The beach pictures I've uploaded were from directly behind the hotel.”

“The Lamplighter is right on the 101, but situated so that the noise is not bad. It appears to be a former motel and is now managed through Vacasa. It's about 0.9 miles away from downtown Bandin or a 20 minute walk / 5 minute drive.

The room is cute and clean and a great value compared to other options in the area. The bathroom is spotless. There are many outlets for charging phones, etc.

Across the street there is: a grocery store, a coffee kiosk, a laundry mat, a Dollar Tree, a Dollar General, a Subway sandwich shop, etc.”
