I've had my taxes done at this H&R Block on Teal Blvd since 2020 and have no reason to go anywhere else. Easy to make an appointment through their website or app, with the option to choose a specific tax professional. They offer in-person, virtual and drop-off appointments for convenience. Ann P. has taken care of my taxes since Day 1. She's friendly, thorough, professional, accurate and worth every penny. She always goes above and beyond to make the tax prep and filing as painless as possible, even making herself available for a quick phone consultation if I have questions before an appt. Great location too, with lots of parking in front and back of office. Highly recommend. 🙂

Told it would be transparent starting at 89.00. My taxes aren't complicated and they are very well organized. I have it all prepared on a spreadsheet with income and expense items listed out. We went from an 89.00 starting cost to a quoted 600.00 return. We left their offices laughing. This is called bait and switch advertising. Furthermore they wont quote you a price until you are in their offices and its too late.

I filed taxes with them this year for the first time. They charged me nearly $200. The IRS rejected their proposal. So I went inside and asked for help with sending another proposal. They quickly told me they can’t represent me with the IRS. Refuses to listen to anything else I had to say. When all I needed was help filling out a 2 page form. I will never file taxes at that location again.

Nobody likes to do taxes, so after being behind sev years I decided to get them done. I called a couple of CPAs and was shocked by their prices, a few wouldn't even give me a price. H&R Block gave me up front pricing. My tax person found credits I didn't know I could get and got a nice refund. I was even able to make an appointment for next year so I don't get behind again.

That advertise a price of $80, it ended up being 400+ dollars to get my taxes done. They say no surprises but I was pretty surprised and was not informed it would be 400 before I did them. Not only that but this year we went H&R Block again and the guy said the tax pro who did it last year (which was at H&R Block) messed it up. So now it has to be amended and they said they would cover fee’s and penalties. That’s about it. We also have to pay this new guy 600+ dollars instead of 400 to do our taxes. I have been using this company almost 10 years, but I probably won’t anymore. My parents went with a different CPA and they are only spending 300 dollars to get there taxes done and they have more complicated stuff then I do. If anyone would like to pay 400+ dollars and get there taxes messed up……. Come to H&R Block

I dropped my paperwork off and they told me it was going to be taken care of. I called multiple times to follow up and each time they said it was being taken care of. After 3 weeks of waiting and very close to the deadline they called and said they wouldnt be able to do my taxes after all.This is unacceptable. Will never do business here again. Terrible customer service. Terrible communication. Terrible company. Go elsewhere.
