The Jenkins Estate park is free, and the park can be reserved for private use event. Great place for a short walk and enjoy the sunshine at late fall season.

I held my baby shower at the Stables in Jenkins Estate in June 2025. It was the most wonderful experience! From talking with the team early on about what I needed to rent the location, to the day of the event we felt very much taken care of. Andrea was particularly kind and helpful. We truly loved the space, the team, and had the best time during our event. Certainly will be using this space again and can’t recommend it enough.

This place is great there are so many trails to explore, we always find or leave painted rocks. There is a turf playground for the kiddos, a pond to explore, Master gardeners garden for learning, field (s) for throwing the ball or Frisbee for your dog. Plus they have great community activities and a nature school and camps run by THPRD. This place is awesome!

Variety in nature awaits! There are several gardens, including rose gardens that are nice for sitting or a little snack. There's an educational garden, and a big open lawn to play fetch with a dog. Away from the house, there are several hiking trails. I took two dogs with me on the trails and loved how after a few steps, it was easy to forget that moments ago we were in a parking lot, let alone there being a house nearby. It looks like the buildings can be used for camps, retreats, and meetings. I enjoyed my hike so much that I recommended it to friends immediately afterwards. Easy to get to from Hillsboro. Yes, it's worth the drive from Portland, a short drive and a wonderful way to spend the afternoon.
