Cedar Hills Ulta Beauty is my only feel good look good store and salon to go to for the past year. Customer service is stellar and consistent.
The manager, Gabby, seems to be very talented at managing and organization of the store. She really took time to listen when I voiced a concern about a beauty service, provided a quick resolution that was not only fair but left me feeling truly valued.
Prices are cheaper compared to other beauty stores because it carries a wide variety of budget-friendly brands and high-end, luxury brands.
Ulta loyalty program/rewards helps and applies to salon services and purchases.

This place is overpriced It's just a bunch of men trying to make money off of our insecurities. I just try to order all this shit from anywhere else and company shouldn't get away with charging $50 for four eyeshadows.

My experience with this salon was absolutely terrible.
I came in requesting a caramel blonde color and showed multiple reference photos. Alexandra, the stylist who worked on my hair, assured me she could achieve the color I wanted.
After two sessions, the result was a disaster: my hair turned into a brassy orange with a strange ashy tone nothing like what I asked for.
When I asked them to fix it, they told me I had to pay more!
I was devastated I broke down crying because of the severe damage they caused: chemical burns, breakage, and overall poor condition due to their mistakes.
Instead of showing any empathy, the manager, Amanda, rudely told me to leave the salon.
I refused to leave until they agreed to correct their mistake.
I requested a simple brown color to fix it, but they ended up dyeing my hair jet black — without my consent.
Alexandra and Amanda both handled the situation with complete negligence and disrespect.
I absolutely do not recommend this salon to anyone.
My experience was filled with poor service, a lack of professionalism, and total disregard for customer care. Be very careful if you consider going there.

I was at Ulta the earlier today when I saw the staff handle a full-on Karen situation and honestly, they deserve a shoutout for how well they managed it.
This customer came in clearly upset about her hair from a previous appointment. She was *very* vocal about how the color wasn’t what she wanted and kept demanding that someone “fix it right now.”
She quickly escalated, yelling at what I believed to be a stylist and then demanding to speak to a manager like it was her personal mission. But the stylist stayed so calm and respectful, handled it like a pro.
It was honestly impressive. The whole time she stayed professional and composed, even with someone trying to cause a scene. Big kudos to the Ulta crew you turned what could’ve been chaos into just another day handled with class.

This location has the worst people working there. The floor staffs are extremely rude and condescending! They lack no customer service whatsoever! I don’t understand why they are working there! I went there today to buy lip liner and I didn’t want to search around for them. I asked one of the workers at the register wearing a pink shirt that if she can ask someone to help me look for some items. She called a floor worker and she never came to assist me. I waited and went to asked if anyone coming to assist me. She gives me a weird look and called the floor staffs again and none of them came. I had to walked towards the floor staffs myself and asked them like I need help looking for items. One of them gives me an attitude and was talking to me as if I was bothering her. I just told her no worries, thanks. They should all quit because I don’t understand the poor customer service. What’s the point of you being on the floor!?

Floor staff is consistently rude and/or ignores you, busy or not. Only the vendors will help usually. Doesn't typically bother me, but I was here literally the day before spending $200, so it was extra annoying. Especially after a 10hr work day. I expect staff like that from Sephora! Do better! Why do I even still shop here!

I went to Ulta at Cedar Hills on 2/24/25 to buy eyebrow pencil, but I couldn’t find the color I was looking for, and the employees on the floor were not helpful. They were greeting the people around me, but nobody acknowledged me.

Macie is the only stylist I have ever completely trusted to cut my curly hair. After a cut from her, literally every day is a good hair day. No exaggeration. She's also a very sweet & kind person, which makes every appointment a treat.

I don’t appreciate the costumer service Angeline was giving. She kept on trying to push the Ulta Credit Card towards me. She kept on insisting multiple times and asking if I’m sure I don’t want the “benefits”.
Every time I come to this Ulta it seems like Adrina is the only one who tends to give the best costumer service. I appreciate the help that she has given me.

I booked my appointment over 10 days in advance, only to have it canceled just 2 hours before via text. When I called to ask why, they told me it was due to a system double booking. How does that even happen? It would have been more respectful and professional to let me know sooner so I could make other plans. They offered to reschedule, but I had chosen that day for a reason. This isn’t the first time I’ve dealt with a double booking, but the last time, my stylist handled it much more professionally, without canceling at the last minute.
