“Awesome bookstore. While entering the store there is a nostalgic feel. It is very comforting and fun. Lots of warm wood tones with displays fully stocked with amazing books. The children’s section is incredible. There is a coffee bar where you can sit and talk with friends or peruse the latest arrivals. Just a very fun and enjoyable place to buy books and spend some time.”

“My dream place! Their matcha latte was amazing. Books were of course amazing. Wish I lived closer so I could spend hours upstairs reading and sipping. The workers were also incredible friendly.”

“What a treasure for Bend! Our first visit and their selection is very impressive. Folks were very helpful and friendly, my kids found books to buy (so did I!)

Great collection of mystery, sci-fi/fantasy, horror, and history.

Definitely worth your time to stop in and look around!”

“As a student going to cocc I absolutely love cocc the only reason why it has four stars is because the bookstore is super expensive other than that I love everything about cocc”

“We take our kids to Barnes & Noble here in Bend often (like every weekend) for a quick tour through. My daughter and wife love to read, and my kindergarten age son loves the kid's section. We live down the road here in NE Bend, and we all really feel a sense of joy from our experiences at Barnes & Noble. Today we had a somewhat challenging experience learning that our premium membership had expired 6 months ago and we had automatically been knocked down from the premium membership to the lower tier 'rewards'. At no time during that 6 month period did any one of the check-out customer service people prompt us to renew our membership. We just paid the high-rate without even being made aware for months on end. At check-out today we had a employee make us feel deeply offended that we were not in the premium membership tier. Even though I immediately handed over my usual premium membership card. I was confused, thinking it surely had been renewed a while back. In the big picture it is not a big deal. But if you spend $200 to $300 per month at Barnes & Noble it is very beneficial to be in the save 10% off 'premium' membership club. Fortunately we were blessed to have Kayla jump into the conversation and help us resolve this situation. Kayla explained what happened quickly and remedied the dynamic. She was compassionate, patient, observant and willing to take the extra time to resolve the issue. Good job Kayla!”

“I used to go to pegaus books as a teenager in the 90s. Got all my roleplaying books, comics and anime there as a teenager. Glad to see it still ope. I'll be stopping there this summer when I visit.”
