About Locavore Market and Grocery - Operated by Central Oregon Locavore Non Profit
Central Oregon Locavore Indoor Farmers Market is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a wide variety of local food and products. It features fresh produce, meats, dairy, grains, baked goods, honey, eggs, seafood, berries, skincare, and more, all sourced from nearby sustainable and environmentally minded farms. The market offers both organically certified and organically grown items, including the largest selection of locally raised grass-fed, antibiotic- and hormone-free meats in Oregon. Shoppers can enjoy a well-curated grocery experience with staples such as fresh vegetables, fruits, milk, eggs, and grains, along with unique sections like bulk teas, herbs, frozen local berries, and local pastries. The store also includes a section for cleaning supplies, promoting plastic reduction, and a special area for expecting or new mothers, curated by a lactation specialist. The market accepts SNAP/EBT, Oregon Farm Direct vouchers, and Double Up Food Bucks, making healthy, local food accessible to many. In addition to shopping, Locavore manages six educational programs to foster community involvement in local food. Members benefit from regular discounts on groceries, classes, and farm-to-table dinners. Overall, it is a vibrant, community-focused place supporting local farmers and ranchers while encouraging residents to shop local first.
Fantastic place to buy top quality food produced by local farmers and ranchers. They are also building a second location on the west side of Bend near Northwest Crossing. I can’t wait to patronize that location as well as this main location. Great staff and very knowledgeable and helpful.

Expensive but worth it for the things that are hard to find for me.
