“Check out this cute Boutigue Hotel, we were able to view the rooms and location at a Networking event. So cute and well done! Looking forward to the smash burger truck!”

“I stayed in an enormous, underpriced suite with an ideal kitchen. They honored my ESA letter and my request to stay on a top floor. It was immaculate, modern, and whisper quiet despite the freeway being at eye level steps away. (I attribute this to soundproofing and their top-notch blackout system.) Perfect bed. My car charged outside for free. I was there working remotely for all three nights (great internet) and thus was home a lot, and yet it never claustrophobic. I didn't use the gym, etc., but I did appreciate the generous breakfast. Very nice staff too. Would love to stay again and explore the area.”

“The hotel is in a great location. We were given a very nice, clean, and quiet room upon arrival. The sliding bathroom door was a bit odd as it had a small gap, but overall, it didn't bother us too much. A standout feature was the electric charger available for EV cars, a convenient touch. The breakfast was satisfactory. In conclusion, the stay was worth the price, and we left satisfied with our experience.Rooms: Clean and quiet.”

“Good value paid $211 for 2 rooms, 2 bath suite with kitchenette. Nothing fancy but decent enough. Check in was a pleasure, front desk staff was awesome, very friendly. I was a little surprised by the dinky size of the kitchenette refrigerator, no oven and little two burner stove top. Not much of a kitchen to really cook in but worked for us. They are doing construction but that wasn't an issue during our visit - aside from the almost comical dumpster view out the window. Check out is noon - definitely a perk!!! Free breakfast was pretty good, lots to choose from plus and once again friendly faces in the dining room!!”

“Over all good experienceRooms - We had a king suite and it was clean and stocked with fun snacks and drinks if your into that. Aside from the bed there was no where to sit. There was one chair in the corner of the room. It made hanging out in the room to relax a little less comfortable than it could have been.Amenities- They have a spa which is lovely. Very simple and quiet. I had an hour massage that was wonderful. They have a salt water pool and hit tub which is open late so we were able to get in the hot tub before bed which was nice. A full restaurant and bar on site as well as a mini bar and coffee counter in the lobby of the lodge. Food was ok not amazing but ok. They boast walking trails but really there is only one 2.5 mile one way "trail" which is really a paved sidewalk winding through the houses and neighborhoods on the property. Not a scenic trail at all. That was a little disappointing but.... over all a nice quite place for a few days away from the hustle and bustle of life.Service- Really great 5 stars on the service. Everyone was friendly, helpful and easy to chat with.”

“The room I got for $85 a few days was way nicer than I was expecting. I'd stayed here once or twice before and it wasn't nearly as clean or updated as it was this last time. I was also surprised to find a whole separate bedroom. The bathroom and beds were clean. It had hard floors, I'm guessing vinyl, so I wasn't worried about ick there. Even the curtains and inside the AC vents were tidy and not gross how I was expecting. Every channel on the bigger TV in the main room was super fuzzy and hard to watch, but for what I paid(last minute to boot), I was pleasantly surprised.”

“Met or exceeded expectations for a weeklong budget stay for a nearby weeklong conference.Friendly staff gave solid recommendations and dealt effectively with our concerns.Would happily consider the Sugarloaf again for another stay in Bend.(Also, check out Pilot Butte on a clear day if you visit Bend. Wonderful views from a vista right in town.)Walkability: Ready access to a number of services. Easily walked to the Riverhouse for conference events.”

“Not too far from downtown with a car. It doesn't look like much on the outside, but everything was nice in the room, updated and clean. Good luck finding another hotel room in Bend with 3 beds for this price. We enjoyed our stay and would book again if in the Bend area for sure, especially if on a budget. But it didn't feel "budget" inside. Everything was comfortable, and we didn't have any negatives to report.”

“Very nice hotel with plenty of parking. Room was very nice, large, and super quiet. We could not hear any noise at all. Shopping and dining offsite are about a 5-minute drive away. I believe downtown was really close as well. Such a great experience to have mother-daughter time that was very much needed.”

“Food & drinks: We enjoyed having happy hour on the patio in the back of the lounge, along with some appetizers. It was a beautiful day, and we had the place to ourselves for a while!”

“We were very happy with LA Quinta. We arrived after a long drive. We had called ahead of time, but when we arrived there was no front desk person. We called several times and listened to the phone ring. We ran the bell over and over. There was a young man that had come in. He said he was there for training. He took the initiative and got us a room! By the time the front desk came walking down the hall. Our room was clean and breakfast was great. Thank you Hayden you are going to go far in this life. You're amazing.”

“This Super 8 team is the best! All of the staff here are very accommodating and look after their guests when there are needs to be met. Extra thanks to Jennifer, Whitney, Vera, and Dawn for being absolute rockstars! Y’all (and the rest of the staff) make a hotel feel like a home away from home. Honestly, my interactions with everyone were amazing. The room I stayed in was nice and quiet, and if there were ever any issues, hotel staff went above and beyond to see that I was more comfortable than before.Having a hot tub down the hall from the room made coming back each day extra rewarding. Dog treats at the desk for my pup did too. And no shortage of dog bags outside? A dream!Ultimately the friendly faces and conversations with the front desk and maintenance were always enjoyable. All of my housekeeping needs were met everyday too. I will definitely be a return visitor.”

“Ok I'm frugal. When I shop for a hotel, price is a big part of my decision. So when we booked a room at Sonoma Lodge in Bend Oregon (August of 2016) I thought I'd found a good value. But when we arrived I was informed that the price was more than quoted. I couldn't believe it, a classic bait and switch. When I questioned them on this they just kept repeating you can cancel the room for free.To their credit they did provide a roll away bed for my 6yo which was nice.”

“We were making our way from Idaho to our home in California. Goung through Oregon looking for a safe clean affordable place to stay and found this little Gem. Great accommodation for the price. Awesome customer service the place was super clean and comfy. Highly recommend.”

“I come through Bend about 4-5 times per year and Motel West is my go-to place to stay. It’s very affordable and has nice, clean accommodations. Can’t really ask for more!”

“Very good place to rest during the trip, friendly service, clean room, excellent breakfast. I will come again next time. The only regret is that the Wifi lost signal after 2 hours of use and could not be connected again.”

“Place could be really nice, like it was years ago. Rooms were clean, but the outside portion (hallways) not so much. Front desk person really wasn't much help with anything. Including the location of a restroom when we arrived. Tried sending us to Hardys to use theirs. But there was one directly around the corner from the check-in desk.Nearby activities: Relatively close to a lot of popular attractions. We were there for a concert at Hayden Homes Amphitheater.”
