The property is set in a stunning natural location, surrounded by nature and mountain peaks, and feels secure with a gated entrance. Guests can enjoy three pools, including an adult-only pool at the lodge, a very nice hot tub, sauna, pickleball courts, a fitness center, and bike rentals. The spa offers incredible massages that leave guests in bliss, though it is located in the lodge, not a separate wellness center. The rooms are updated and spacious, with comfortable beds and fresh linens. Some rooms feature a small kitchenette with a coffee maker and sink, but several guests noted the lack of a microwave or stove top for heating leftovers, which was a minor critique. Room service is by request only via an app. Food and drinks receive high praise, described as amazing and delicious, with well-poured drinks and good recommendations. Specific menu items like the crab cakes and lobster roll are standout favorites. However, some guests found the food options limited, with only one restaurant serving the same lunch and dinner menu, leading to repetition. The staff is consistently highlighted as amazing, friendly, and eager to help, providing service that feels above and beyond. We had a meal in the Juniper Preserve Lava tubes, and wow it blew my mind. Amazing!

We only stayed for a night, but we were shocked that this place is as nice as it is. As far as comfort, beauty, and luxury, I'd put it on par with Ritz Carlton. The only thing I'd say we were caught off guard by is all the children. Most of the guests were young families. Luckily, there's an adult-only pool.
