I had the best experience today! Norman was phenomenal. His level of expertise showed. I came in self conscious of my red skin. I have an auto immune disorder that causes rosacea, he immediately told me about a product that literally made my skin clear and not red within SECONDS. He educated me, was polite and extremely cleanly. When I got to the register I was greeted by a beautiful blonde lady in a lab coat whom was also extremely educated and included a gift bag with my purchase! Also shout out to the same lady at the counter who’s older but absolutely slays in her pink outfits all the time! Thank you ulta!

So much products online labeled as in stock but haven't been for months. Asked for some type of help or discount using Ulta rewards. I give up. You don't get my money anymore! Everything normal people get here can be found online or at target. I am gonna use my rewards and never shop here again and it should be avoided by others due to cheaper competitors

Lovely experience at Ultra! Went in for some things for the wife and the purple hair lady behind the counter was very helpful. Made my errand easy and quick and my wife happy.

I always have a good experience in here, but wanted to share my experience from last weekend. I came in with my toddler and sister, and a lovely gentleman in the store greeted us, and after a few minutes asked if my toddler could have a gift. I wish I had gotten his name, but to the employee with salt and pepper hair and glasses- you made my son's day with your act of kindness.After this interaction I spent a long time with Ben, who was so helpful and knowledgeable in helping me find a fragrance as a holiday gift for someone else. Scents are so personal and Ben was very patient as I must have gone through over a dozen scents until we found something that was perfect and in my price range. Lastly, Ben worked with my sister to give her skincare recommendations, for which she was so grateful to have someone discuss her concerns with tact and graciousness. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Shopping this time of year is always stressful and I appreciate the excellent customer service we received.

The lady asked for my number I gave it to her. She used it and I said I have no points to use? She said O your supposed to tell me ahead of time, but you got $8 off. I said why didn’t you ask to apply it, she said O were not supposed to? I guess a tactic ulta beauty uses to make sure you don’t get the discount. It was poor customer service. I shop there for my makeup and get eyebrows done. Target had great makeup and hairspray.

Personally really disappointed with the Redmond location. I called to schedule a bang trim and the woman on the phone was very unprofessional and clueless as to simply look up availability. Then she tells me incorrectly that the only price available is for the "elite" stylist and that there was not a tier system anymore. The truth was that there was only one worker doing hair, not that the 3 levels of pricing was gone.Anyways after that, I decided to only get a bang trim.I asked for 1pm, she told me how is 12 45 and I said that would probably work, not knowing she the stylist had a full haircut appointment at 1, leaving me with only 15 minutes for a bang trim.The day of I admit I was about 5 minutes late and called before 12 45, (when I was leaving my house) to tell them I'm running a few minutes late. They told me that was okay and they'll let the stylist know.So I show up around 12 50, and off the bat the lady, Kayla, is very rushy with me and not really interested in making sure she knows what I wanted as far as a trim goes. She quickly and messily parts my hair and starts cutting it diagonally downward, in a very jagged fashion. I have fine hair as well and she didn't take into account what the bangs were supposed to look like for a second and proceeded to basically thin them out without bringing the length up. I was there for about 9 minutes and told her I wanted side swoop bangs, rounded out and straight across.Utterly ridiculous. She barely communicates with me the whole time I'm there and just talks about how she has another appointment really soon and how I'm "so late"5 minutes. Really?They need to hire someone more experienced in the salon that doesn't need their manager protecting them when they execute a bad cut. They refused me a refund which is fine, but the manager was very argumentative on the phone, constantly saying that "she's the best, she's worked here 20 years, I'm taking 'her' side on this one" Just really werid stuff.As well as continuously mentioning how they "reviewed the cameras to see how late I was" Which was 5 minutes which is what I told them day of. Considering she couldn't simply cut my bangs straight and blend them in evenly in a whole 9 minutes. After 20 years you'd think she could do that right? Before I even got my glasses back on to check it out she had already took the cape off me and printed the receipt.If a customer is late thus causing the stylist to not be able to do a decent job, they need to cancel and offer to reschedule the appointment. Not tell me it's fine, knowing I'll be late, and me not knowing she had another customer coming so soon after me. And just squeezing me in to make a quick buck and leaving me with a haphazard haircut and feeling so upset and uncomfortable afterwards.Ulta has good products but their policies, drama, immaturity, disrespectfulness, and inexperience is really going to sink that place. Have higher standards for the people you hire.I immediately went to another salon and they were kind, attentive and patient with me and cut it evenly with no issue. Really no excuse to do that and keep someone's money.First 2 pics are after I went to a legit salon and got it fixed, last 2 are what the "20 year bleach blonde expert that no one has ever complained about" left me with.

First time shopper here at Ulta! Everyone was so welcoming from the time I entered the store until I left. I met makeup consultant Christine who was knowledgeable, funny and made me feel special. I looked fantastic when I left. I made another appointment with my new friend ? for a special occasion coming up.

Locked the doors 10 minutes before closing to sit at the register and pick at their nails. Actually watched as people tried to come in and would just stare at them. I luckily was able to get in “in time” to have the person behind check out be short and rude and practically yell “phone number” as I walked up at 7:45. For someone who works 12 hours days some days and cannot get in until the evening. This is super frustrating.

I went in to Ulta looking for some better foundation. I'm not a big "make up person" so the huge selection was overwhelming. Norman guided me to the perfect product for my sensitive/aging/acne skin. He made my experience very welcoming and took the time to educate me about the product and why it was suitable for my skin. I usually dread shopping for cosmetics, but he was so welcoming and made me feel at ease. I cannot praise him enough, his service was everything customer service should be- warm, friendly, and helpful! He encouraged me towards the right product for my needs and was mindful of my budget. If you need help at Ulta, I highly recommend seeking him out.

I am doing my own makeup for my wedding this September and Taylor was super helpful in showing me what products I should use. I left the store with several products that look amazing and I'm super pleased with the look that Taylor helped me with.

The store hours posted online indicate that this place is open until 9:00 PM on Saturday. I went there at 8:01 PM on Saturday and it was locked. Wasted time and gas. I won't be coming back...

Brow Bar, Bend Oregon Services- WHITNEY PENINGTON makes my brows look fabulous every time. I know it's awkward sitting near the check out line at Ulta. During the pandemic, we all got creative on where to get our services. Whitney is a gem within this big store. Whitney's style is to listen, ask a few questions, partner on the perfect shape and brow tint to enhance your expression. We've grown my brows fuller and designed a natural arch that I wanted, after over waxing and a bit of neglect.

A waste of time. The employees are friendly and willing to help, but just when you find a product- it’s out. After finding 5 products I wanted to buy, every product was out of stock. The employee said it’s not unusual to only receive one or two items to restock per week = waste of my time. Order online.

5 Stars for the manager, Emma for being so professional and helpful, 5 for Lexie who wasn't having the best day but focused on my issue and got it resolved, and then 5 stars for Christine who helped me find everything I needed in the Bare Minerals section and taught me about powders and coverage.Negative 5 stars for the so-called "Rewards Program" that corporate madly misrepresents.Because of the amazing team, I'll still shop at this store, but I will make major purchases in stores where I am familiar with the rewards and they don't actually expire.
