“Recently, we had decided to buy a car, and we initially went to one of the local dealerships in Bend. They were horrible after making me wait for three hours they wanted to haggle on the price of my trade in. I walked out frustrated. But in the end things worked out for the best because I met Tom. Tom is a classic car man. He loves cars and is very knowledgeable. He had a used truck that he had ordered brand new for the previous owners. He met us at our office, took the car for a drive and liked it. He took care of all the paperwork. It was very convenient. The next car we purchase will be through Tom, maybe a brand new model.”

“Local Motors changed all my preconceived ideas about these small used car lots. They have a selection of quality cars with fair prices. Morgan changed my whole opinion of used car salesmen. He is honest and humble, knows his cars and how to pick out quality cars. The car I got was in prime condition. I noticed what I thought might be an issue w a recall but it turned out to be nothing and an older issue just as he said it was. I got a unicorn of a car and deal here. He went above and beyond to help me with the purchase of my car, coming in on his day off, always responsive to my calls, working with the added hoops we had to jump through w my financing. He went the extra mile to make sure small things were fixed on an as is car, he offered to pick me up to deliver the car, and got the car gassed up and all ready for me. He also worked with me on the final price. Out of all this I gained a friend, not just a used car salesman. I'd look here first for a car next time I'm in the market for a car.”

“I bought a beautiful 2016 beetle at the end of June 2023, and Corey provided some of the best service I have ever experienced. He was responsive, kind, and I felt like he really put an effort to get me a deal I was okay with, he even drove it from bend to Hillsboro. The issues started with the lack of effective communication when it came to getting a new title, registration, and DEQ testing. It's a very complex situation that has the Oregon DMV confused about everything, during which time I got less then stellar customer service from management. With significant (to me at least) unexpected fees popping, and after exchanging some emails, where admittedly I let my financial frustrations (along with some very strong curse words) get the best of me (I'm sorry!), I was reimbursed for most of the fees that incurred.Overall* I would recommend* buying from this dealership, they are fair in making deals, and you have a lot of freedom in negotiating a deal. ** buy local if you can, distance purchases, as it turns out, suck because different counties and/or states have different requirements, which although I knew, didn't think it was going to be much of a problem, they're professionals, they should know AND tell you about it, but sometimes, they don't.***ASK ALL THE QUESTIONS. My situation seems like it was a lack of communication on BOTH SIDES, I didn't know what questions to ask, and they didn't know what I didn't understand. I would have much rather been on the same page as them, than having to fight for a reimbursement for fees.”
