Astounding service! My call to Tim at Brooks Hardware just now was worth its weight in gold as I Ponder the future of my beloved 20 year old Shindaiwa multi-tool trimmer weed eater. That thing is stronger than any weed eater I've ever used: it just completely demolishes blackberry vines-- dry or fresh growth it just chews them up into shreds. It's a great machine. well I was faced with having to rebuild the carburetor on this machine again. I've been hard on it. I've learned to troubleshoot these things and fixing it but getting the parts is always a problem. So many different choices out there online and it's good if you can take your time and if you're willing to wait for something and if you don't mind if it's not the right part and then you can simply order something new probably from Amazon or whomever have to wait a day or more to get it and then don't forget to return that other part because guess what? I have three new coils for that weed eater sitting in there in the garage useless to me because they're not the right part. I paid for them I should have taken them back but I never did get them back to the post office to send it back to Amazon so I ate the price on that. But as I say to him over there at the Brooks Hardware he did the research on the right part for me they have the carburetor rebuild kit for this machine it's kind of surprising because it's times I say it's 20 years old and you know they don't probably sell them very often but I'm sure thankful they have one and I'll be getting over there to pick it up great service willing to take the time with you a lot of patience there and knowledge all the way from the front desk back to the guy who's really detailed on ordering parts and such all right five go start to you folks and A+ and thank you so very much for helping us out.

We love our local Brooks Hardware. It's like going back in time to when businesses actually cared about their customers and there's always a helpful employee close by willing to help. They often have items that the big box stores don't have and will happily order almost anything for you that they might not stock. Prices here are often less than they are at Lowes and Home Depot. Highly recommend.

What a great experience. Truly helpful employees helped me remember when hardware store visits were fun.I needed a trailer hitch ball replaced with smaller size. Three other stores wouldn't help. The young man working yesterday went above and beyond excellent customer service. I'll definitely shop here again. When I need higher priced items in the future I'll be driving out of my way to give my business to these great people.
