“So if you live in the Portland metro and ever find yourself in the country side THIS nursery is so quaint and a gem! The staff are so dang nice and a sensory delight for anyone wandering off the path looking for plants. i was pleasantly surprised to find two local gals just leaving cash at the register and i was like "how do you get rung up here?" to her reply "just call that # you see here and someone will come up and ring you up or if you have exact change just leave it and they trust you" - in a world we live in today that just made my day there are still good people who give the decency and honor to the public to be honest and accountable. “I've shopped here somewhere around 10 times now, and have always enjoyed it. Staff in all areas have been helpful and knowledgeable. We started with some outdoor plants, then I recently discovered their wonderful indoor plant selection, and now I'm hooked on this place. Even if you just want a relaxing place to hang out for 30 minutes, I would recommend their indoor plant room, which is bright, warm, humid, and has nice jungle/bird music playing. ☀️ ?”

“My family has been a customer of State Street Saw Shop for a number of years. There is a closer Stihl dealer but we trust this place above the others. We've brought chains in for sharpening, purchased new chains and other supplies, and have even purchased multiple chain saws here.The last purchase we made was because our medium-sized saw had a crack in the crank case. They offered to speak to the Stihl rep to see if such an unusual repair could be covered by the warranty, which was long-since over. Although the rep rejected the idea, State Street Saw Shop offered me a substantial discount on a new saw, which we gladly accepted.In addition to saws, they carry the full line of Stihl products, including weed eaters, trimmer, leaf blowers, and a full line of accessories and can order items they don't carry in inventory. This is our go-to shop for all our Stihl needs. It should be yours, too.”

“We purchased 200 cut peonies from Brooks for our late May wedding and they were the star of the show! We picked them up the Thursday morning before the Sunday event. We took careful care of them while they opened and followed instructions, and every peony was honestly perfect. Going to pick out the colors a week before was so fun and the farm is gorgeous - I want to live in their peony field. I highly recommend a visit and buying cut flowers from them. We ordered immediately when they opened orders for the season in March to make sure to get our date reserved.”
