“Despite the fact we live in nearby Bend, for four years in a row our family has taken a staycation at House On Metolius to mark ‘real fall’ (usually mid November). This place is so special and magical, it’s a real highlight of our calendar every year.
We buy a prime rib at Sisters Smokehouse and enjoy it in one of the uber cosy cabins, with a day of just roaming around the property and enjoying the stunning views and unreal serenity.
The property is just gorgeous, the cabins are very well equipped and clean and comfortable, and the scenery just has to be seen to be believed. It’s an amazing place for a getaway and some time for quiet & connection.”
