Y'all can see from my reviews that I typically don't bash a company about their customer service to people because I understand everybody has a bad day. I love this store, I love going there, I love their merchandise, I love their prices. I go there all the time to get my supplies for my crafts that I do want a daily basis. I also have young children that come with me everywhere I go. Currently we do not have a vehicle. My oldest son bought us an electric scooter. So I typically ride my youngest on the scooter while my 10-year-old rides his bike when we need to go places. Last week we went into Michael's and I just needed a pack of colored sharpie paint pens. Now please keep in mind that I have gone into this place with my scooter and my son on his bike, walking through the store- very politely and responsibly- multiple times. I mean multiple. Without any problem, anybody needing to talk to us or say that we need to leave them outside or anything we are very responsible with them, surprisingly so is my son he just walks with it beside him. We're always in there for like 10 minutes anyway, if that just pick up something quick. So I went in there the other day with my two kids and our scooter and bike and I was stopped as soon as we walked in the door by a worker telling me that we had to leave our stuff at the door and I'm like this is a $400 electric scooter I'm not leaving it at the door I came in here three days ago and you let me walk it through the store and I checked out with this very same person stopping me. Matter of fact they were the same one who checked us out 2 other times the week before and they were like no it's not ok. She even got on her walkie-talkie to ask if it was okay just so I could hear that this was a nogo. Well then I was like can you please just go get me the paint pens please and she very irritatedly agreed with the request but went to attempt to do it anyways and comes back with one black sharpie marker and I'm like I'm sorry ma'am I need the color paint pens, with all the colors please. She said, I got this black permanent marker that you asked for. So I'm like really? this is ridiculous I was just here three days ago they had no problem with my son and I going in the store with our bike and scooter but now all of a sudden it was absolutely out of the question and the only other idea they had was that I could leave my children (6&10) at the front entry with our equipment- like are you for real right now? you must be out of your damn mind?!

Nice store for crafters. They have good selections of just about anything you would need to complete your crafting projects. They offer good sales and online coupons too. Parking is easy.

I don't go to Michael's craft store very often. I think the last time I went there I was looking for something to take up in the woods and exercise a high-powered rifle at.
But Michael's really isn't my bag baby.
Regardless, they do have some fantastic items and if you're looking for paint pans or other various things to craft, some flowers about Michael's is probably the place for you.
Also, I believe they let you take your dog in the store and it's a nice, quiet spot for some socialization of your pup.
In my experience to help isn't the best. Some of the staff have a bit of a chip on their shoulder.
That being said, others are fantastic and more than willing to go the extra mile to help you out, finding that super sharpie pen for your next baseball signature.

They have changed to self check out, which I hate. I was trying to use a coupon. It would not work. Had to turn on the help light, then wait for a clerk to come from the shopping aisles to help me. She got it yo work. I will think twice about shopping there anymore. I will use Amazon and save myself the frustration.

Best inventory, staff, and manager I’ve encountered at any Michael’s so far. Love this location. Ask for Robyn, she won’t steer you wrong.

I have always had such amazing experiences at this store, the customer service is unmatched. Just recently I was nearing a deadline for a project and online it said the store has 6 in stock. I looked through a bunch of bins and even asked for help but it wasn’t there. I looked and looked and would have given up but Robyn was determined to find where the 6 skeins were. She was climbing ladders and looking in secret bins under shelves! She finally found the yarn and my niece will be getting her birthday present on time!!! 10/10!

Good selection, and generally good customer service. However, the make or break for me right now is the lack of bike parking. They used to allow me to take my bike into the store (which is a smaller footprint than a shopping cart, I might add) but now management has said no, and since there are no bike racks or staples nearby, I guess I'm out of luck. So no more Michaels here for me. Womp womp.
As a tip, if this location ever needs to do any work or improvements (construction, parking lot, etc.) that requires a permit, you'll be required to install bike parking in order to remain within code, so I would suggest spending the few hundred dollars to install it before that so that your customers who bike can come in and spend money and make up for that cost before you're required to do it by law. ??♀️
