Menucha Retreat and Conference Center is a magical, rustic retreat center located just a few miles off I-84 in Corbett, Oregon, only 20 or so minutes outside of Portland. Set on 102 acres in a lovely wooded setting with spectacular eastward and westward views of the Columbia River Gorge, it offers a great quiet location for respite. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, featuring classic facilities that are a throwback in time with much character, such as the warmth of the Wright Lodge and its iconic woodwork. Menucha hosts conferences and retreats of all shapes, sizes, and budgets for groups of 1-140 guests, welcoming nonprofit, arts, faith-based, and family groups since 1950. The staff is friendly and helpful. Guests are offered delicious, home style food made from scratch with daily homebaked bread, homemade jam, and food-sensitive dishes. The atmosphere provides stunning sunrises and incredible sunsets. While some note the facilities are rustic and could use updates, Menucha remains a solid near-town but out-of-town event space dedicated to enriching lives through hospitality, education, reflection, and renewal.

Grew up coming out here every summer. Great memories. Recently took a visit with the wife and explored the grounds. The staff was very kind and gave us permission to walk around. Was just how I remembered it.

Such a great place for a retreat! The grounds are beautiful and the views are spectacular. I loved the warmth of the Wright Lodge and Greenhouse. The home style food was delicious.
