My rent was raised an astronomical amount, when I went in to speak to someone about my options, the front desk lady immediately put a hold on the rental increase for three months. I appreciated that. “This public storage location ( 71 and Halsey) is Blue Ribbon best. We have been here for over a year now and have never had a complaint. Debbie, the “main” gal in charge, has always gone out of her way to answer questions, issues and always has the most friendly and professional attitude! It is obvious she values her customers and treats us like family. I feel secure knowing she has her eagle eye on everything, especially
MY stuff! The property is always clean and neat, I’ve never even seen a scrap of trash or anything that would indicate folks have been messing around on the property.. Some day I hope to eliminate some of my tons of belongings, but for now, I know everything is safe and sound. Debbie and her team set the standard that other storage places need to learn from. Clean, neat, safe. What more could ya ask for?”

“First, I was greeted at the front office door (which was unlocked 10 minutes early for me). I was greeted by name. The entire check in process was awesome. I was able to change my reservation and get a ground floor unit which is what I needed. I was shown where to park and when I had to go for food, my moving truck (a 26 footer) was allowed to stay in the parking lot and was on camera so I didn't have to worry about it.
This was the best experience I've ever had with a storage facility. I highly recommend using this facility!”
“Just moved to Portland and found Public Storage to be an excellent option for storage. Notably, at the Powell location, Abigail’s supreme customer service went above and beyond. She is top notch with lots of know-how, friendliness, and professionalism. “I got a call from Nathan because I did not lock up my unit properly (dummy me!). I was unable to quickly return to correct the problem, but Nathan took great care of me and corrected the problem for me. So good that they are looking out for our stuff! Very pleased with Northwest Self Storage!”

“My girlfriend and I have been renting space for years (9+) from this location. the management and team are so wonderful. We have changed sizes of storage need on a couple different occasions as our family grew. They run a great place for all that is happening with the houseless and rodent problem in this area. Always clean and if you have any problems they definitely address it with the quickness. As long as they are there we will stay. We where going to change locations for storage because of previous management. But when this team was implemented we gave them a chance and then decided to stay. One amazing team they have there.”

“Been storing my stuff here for several years. I'm rating 4 because the staff is great and always friendly. Shawn went out of his way to help remove a charge when I moved from one storage to the next and I accidently used my old code to my previous unit before it was deactivated which led to another monthly charge on my old unit. The system wouldn't let him change it, so he went out of his way to contact district management to get the problem fixed and reverse the charges. He didn't have to, he just did. I would give 5 stars but the only thing I'm not real happy about is the prices increase every 6 months or so. So over time the unit price becomes more difficult to afford. Other than that, I appreciate the facility and how secure it is. Plenty of monitoring of use and cameras. I am worry free about my things being tampered with. I especially appreciate the climate controls and cleanliness inside.”
