“We completed House of Shadows room, which had a great (spooky) vibe and engaging puzzles. The gamemaster was energetic and engaging. This was not a beginner room, but I would recommend for all other groups.”

Not only was her vision of becoming a community hub and staple something that I could get behind as a FTM but over the years all of her support in helping to get my littles through their developmental milestones with thoughtful toy and activity recommendations have been invaluable!She also was LIFESAVER during the pandemic, doing toy and balloon deliveries and truly bringing love and light into our home. But since the new location opened with all the fun activities (our favorites being Toddler Art and Books & Bubbles) and playscape, our littlest human has grown to wake up Wednesday mornings to ask for "toy store & bagels"-- his idea of the perfect day.If you are looking for a wealth of knowledge on toy recommendations and fun ways to reimagine play... shop local and stop in and visit Hammer & Jacks!”

“This place was pretty amazing. Awesome adorable little tiki bar and the food they have is pizza! Shows on Sundays all ages fantastic sound system and recording place. I would recommend finding a show and go to it!”
“Abernethy center was one of the best choices we made in the wedding planning process! Abigail’s garden is such a gorgeous, timeless and cozy outdoor venue that was beautifully captured in our photos and hearts! They had packages that made our lives so much easier with included catering and set-up, were always happy to help answer the million questions I peppered them with, and went above and beyond our expectations. The food was absolutely delicious and guests raved about it for days after! We opted to get the day-of coordination to ease our minds, and Josie was absolutely phenomenal and made our wedding seamless. Josie was there to answer questions, help make the space look gorgeous, coordinate with the vendors and allow us to be able to focus on enjoying the day. I can’t imagine not having Josie on the day as she was so incredible.”

“We had a Celebration of Life for my father-in-law and everything ran smoothly, which was important for our family during this sad time. Samantha did a wonderful job at being caring and compassionate, while taking care of all the details. The staff did an excellent job of maintaining the right feel for an event of this kind. Their service was awesome. We are appreciative that we were able to honor our dad with the help of Persimmon Country Club.”

“An old facility but a goodie. It is well maintained, beautiful inside and out.I attended a small school graduation there and the space was more than adequate.Things I noticed:A lovely stage, never found an A/C control (so verify if you plan a summer event), handicap access is available,&Women’s restroom: I found the restroom stall size inadequate to maneuver comfortably and I am only a size 18 so certainly do not think it would afford room to move for elderly with cane/walker or handicap unless you leave the stall door open. This might be acceptable accommodation for you because there is an outer room that can be used for this (and nursing mothers) and the door between the main hall and that outer room can be closed.”
“If you were looking for a great place with AA meetings I recommend coming here call Mama they have an awesome noon meeting where all are welcome with amazing coffee and snacks.”
“Played the west course today. Many of the fairway grass is pretty sparse and you are hitting off hard ground. I guess expected considering it's the end of August. The course itself is reasonably priced, the restaurant food is pretty good. Had the Happy Hour smash burger with fries and it was tasty.”
“Fun place for the family to go . Food was actually pretty good and reasonable priced . The have beer also if that's your style . Took a little to get the bumpers figured out , you have to ask there isn't a button on the controller like other places .
Lock your car and hide your stuff the neighborhood isn't the best anymore but the facility is nice”

“Friendly staff, great food, You can feel and smell clean but not chemical foofoo spray clean, real actual CLEAN clean! The beds are comfortable, the pillows are perfect, the TV is BIG the pool is warm and the hot tub is hot. It's an excellent place to stay.”
“An absolutely stunning wedding venue! From the getting ready suite to the greenhouse to the reception space it's fantastic. The venue is so large and has lots of photo options. I'd highly recommend it to any couple and would love to shoot here again!”

“Went today to Carver Event Center to tour the venue for our vow renewal in 2027. All I can say is Wow! The venue is gorgeous and Jenn puts alot of love and work into it. Would highly recommend to other couples looking for a wedding or renewal venue close to nature. Prices are reasonable and staff goes above and beyond.”
