“This adorable Inn is a great location, close to everything if you want to walk.
Our room #17 was cute and cozy, with a shabby chic aesthetic. The view was just okay as we could only see the cliff and restaurant across the street. If you want to see the ocean you have to sit and tilt your head just so to view it. I don’t recommend this room; It had a king sized bed; however, it appeared to be cracking on the side which made it creak a lot, plus the bed is grade A hard, no softness to be found.
The carpet made the room seem dirty, (shag) and it smelled awful, bring a scented candle!
If you reserve here pick an upstairs room so you don’t have to hear every step and (other things) of your upstairs neighbor.
I think this place is unique for location and the staff were very kind.
I’m a neat freak when it comes to hotel stays and overall it was clean, just the carpet ruined it for me, bring slippers or flip flops so you don’t have to touch it.
I’m giving 4 stars for location and staff.”

“The absolute best place I’ve stayed in within all of my trips to Oregon. It’s like a motel style but doesn’t feel like it at all. The BEST pillows and beds ever! The price was very reasonable for being able to see the Pacific Ocean and Peggy was amazing with communication. At the next location we stayed my daughter even said “I want the pillows we had at the last place, those were the best” good night sleep that was very needed! Bathroom is small, but it didn’t bother us at all. Such a great stay I had to review on multiple platforms 😁”

“This is a very cute hotel with very thoughtful touches in amenities in the room for just in case for travelers. For younger travelers, I see this as being a perfect hotel room, but personally won't be staying here again because the mattress wasn't supportive or comfy enough for a middle-aged traveler to successfully sleep through the night.If the mattress was upgraded from a standard spring mattress to pillow or memory foam topper, I definitely would be more likely to stay and recommend it to my friends and family. If you're lucky enough not to be of the age where bed types matter, then this is a great hotel.”

“had a great experience at SCP Depoe Bay. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and well taken care of. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had that perfect coastal vibe that makes you instantly relax. The views and the peaceful atmosphere really made the trip special.

What stood out the most, though, was the manager, Jake. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was right. Friendly, professional, and genuinely caring — you can tell he takes pride in the place and truly wants guests to have a great stay. That kind of leadership makes a big difference.

If you’re staying in Depoe Bay and want somewhere clean, comfortable, and run by good people, I highly recommend SCP Depoe Bay. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Beautiful spouting water! Huge sprays cascading over the rocks and raining on all of us standing by the rocky walls. Mesmerizing! Saw license plates from California, Washington, Nevada and Idaho! Really a once-in-a-lifetime scene in Depoe Bay, the Smallest Harbor in the world!”

“Love this place. Everything you need in one place, pool, hot tub, restaurant, bar, beach, access to washing machines and dryer. Next time I will bring extra blankets to sit on the patios and enjoy the ocean. A little outdated, but very clean. Our room was upgraded from a queen to a king and we had a coffee pot, fridge w/freezer, microwave, blow dryer, ceiling fan, closet with a portable box fan, iron and ironing board, TV, cable, DVD player and a gas fire place. I'm not sure what other rooms are equipped with. Drawback stairs to nearly every room, found crusty washcloth in shower, small walkway to patio shared with another room.”
