“My husband and I stayed here for one night and absolutely loved it. It's cute and charming. Nice private balcony and private access to the beach with a very solid staircase. Other closeby inns use the same beach but have different access points, and there were only a few people there. We were provided with a tide booklet, which was very helpful. Loved the ambiance of the fireplace and having fresh coffee for the morning. The only negative thing for me was the mattress was too hard for me and the pillow over stuffed. That's me, though. I prefer a softer mattress and thinner pillow. A suggestion I'd make since there were 4 pillows provided would be to have a couple that aren't as stuffed. My husband slept fine. Overall, it is a very cute place, an older motel that's has been remodeled while maintaining its surfer beach charm. I definitely recommend it!”

“I give it an overall 5 star because they upgraded my room because they needed the lesser price to room. but the reviews that say that you can hear people above you, it's true… If that bothers you, you need to say on a different floor besides the bottom floor. I think it should say there's no access to the beach from the resort, because you have to go down the road.. So it has no access to the beach. but overall, the upgraded room was absolutely beautiful. Thank you for upgrading me !”

“We were unvited to join our friend (a local) to experience this restaurant.For sure a different affair.It serves a revolving (set) menu with a starter, choice out of 3 main dishes and a desert.Thw table is shared with other guests but not in a too greater group.We were at a table of eight and had the pleasure of meeting some lovely people.All up there were 2 tables of eight guests.The food was quite lovely and there was a nice selection of beverages.Furthermore there is a little gift shop.”

“I can't say enough good things about the Comfort Inn in Newport, OR. We had a reservation there to spend the night and to attend a wedding on what turned out to be the worst ice storm maybe ever. Almost everyone who was to attend could not get to Newport except the bride (our granddaughter) and groom and another grandfather. Then the city closed the venue where the wedding was supposed to be. The Comfort Inn let us have the wedding in their conference room and saved the day as well as it could be under the circumstances. And besides our room was good and the breakfast was good.”

“Rooms are recently renovated. They’re a bit small but perfectly fine for what they are. In an excellent location, 10 minute walk to the bayfront, 10 minute walk the opposite way to the beach. Very quiet despite being right on the 101.Absolutely cannot beat it for the price.”

“My friend and I stayed here for an impromptu getaway recently. We are new to B&Bs and such so we were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality. The lady who checked us in and cooked us breakfast was an exceptional host.There is soothing music playing when you enter your room, and all the rooms have different views of the ocean.Overall very cozy and upscale, clean, great breakfast, we will be back!”
