“Absolutely fantastic condo. It was the least expensive lodging available for a night, so expectations were low. We were pleasantly surprised. Location is great - just north of town. Easy beach access. Clean, comfortable, stocked with games, kitchen items, and bathroom items. We will be back.”
“Stayed at Best Western Plus Agate Beach Inn and the location is amazing. The pool and the ocean view were absolutely breathtaking.
But I was honestly surprised to see a worn-out, peeling armchair in the room. It’s hard to understand how a $280/night room can have furniture in that condition.
Breakfast isn’t included, but the breakfasts at the restaurant on the property were absolutely delicious.”

“We had the best view. We happened to go when the weather was beautiful. It was a very comfortable place to stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only negatives were a very tight toilet area in bathroom and the bed squeaked. Everything else was stellar.”

“This was the friendliest and most accommodating hotel staff I have ever encountered. We had a group there for a baseball tournament. They served breakfast an hour early on our game days to ensure our players were able to eat breakfast before leaving for their games. They also allowed our group to use the breakfast room in the evenings so our team could hang out and have dinner together. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the beds were comfortable. The location was great and really close to Nye Beach. My only complaint was that the selection for breakfast was lacking. The kindness of the staff more than made up for that!”

“I've been to many hotels.
This hotel has all the basic elements that some higher-end hotels so easily overlook.
The check-in process was easy and friendly. We got a very nice room. Everything was clean and looked nice. The bed was comfortable for me ( had back pain that night and the bed helped). I slept peacefully. They were all courteous.
It is also in a great location
I appreciate this place. Would return.”

“Rooms are clean, well stocked, and beautiful. the attendant was very nice and silly 10 out of 5 stars if i could. I've seen more expensive hotels that can't compare to our stay here at rodeway Inn. Would 100% recommend for the most inexpensive, nice hotel in newport oregon!”

“Came out here for our 19th anniversary and wish to stay longer it was the most beautiful place to be wake up see the ocean even if you on the other side all you hear are the waves crashing and it was the most peaceful sound to hear. The area was perfect ate at some of the restaurants in the area they were delicious! Got a great view of the ocean! Beautiful sunset! King Ned was so roomy and loved watching tv while hearing the waves to my right. The service was amazing they were all welcoming and helpful. Can’t wait to come again and hopefully even bring the family it would be perfect for them also!!”

“Not the type to usually spring for nicer hotels. Most of the time that I do make the plunge on my trips I find that they just don't do it for me. HOWEVER, This spot is excellent. Wonderful view of the ocean from our spot, beautiful room, comfortable bed, and the landscaping here is the highlight. A scenic walk directly to the ocean. Staff have been wonderful, amenities were free, I never felt like I was being nickel and dimed. Couldn't recommend it more if you want to actually get bang for your buck on a slightly more expensive stay. I say expensive, but it's actually moderately priced, especially compared to the plethora of resorts on the cost.”
