“I had the pleasure of spending two weeks at lost valley as a visitor, and as a participant of their social forestry camp. The course attracted an amazing group of intelligent and kind people, and the instructors skillfully guided us through various exercises to deeply connect with each other and the land. The mood ranged from playful to contemplative, with room for us to all show up and share our full selves. It was a beautiful experience.The remaining time that I spent embedded in the community revealed a group of creative, compassionate people deeply committed to building a thriving eco-village. Between frequent shared dinners and regular work parties to tend the land and garden, I had many opportunities to get to know the members and see the varying ways in which they each embody the mission and vision of lost valley. I am excited to return to spend more time with this group, and would absolutely consider moving there!!”
