“A little tough navigating for older folks, and the sound system was rather loud - enough to distort the singers' voices to the point that the words were unintelligible. But Dolly's fans know the words anyhow, so I doubt that most of them noticed. The symphony orchestra is phenomenal, and the conductor just lights a fire! I'd enjoy watching him work if I couldn't hear a thing.”
“My event rental service, Caught In The Act Entertainment has provided DJs and Photo Booths there many times. They have a great facility for events and their restaurant and nightclub is open to the public. We provide FAMILY FRIENDLY KARAOKE there every Thursday at 7p and live entertainment on the weekend.”

“Great space, great food, great staff! We have hosted our event at The Venue three years in a row and we are never disappointed. Jennifer and her team go above and beyond to make sure all the details are covered. We will continue to return every year. Our attendees absolutely love the space and the food-they are excited to come to the event for lots of reasons and the venue is the icing on the cake!”
“Dined at Placido's pasta shop. Restaurant was top notch as usual. Parking was tight as usual. The building itself is very modern with down to earth features to collect rain water and repurpose wood structures.”

“We had to stay at Candlewood for nearly two weeks for my husband’s job. It was incredibly comfortable and the layout of our room was amazing. The staff were also great, everyone was very kind. We will definitely stay again.”

“Fairly new and clean. Rates are good too if you are a Marriot Bonvoy member. Our new default place to stay when passing by Eugene as we malae frequent roadtrips back and forth Cali and Washington.”
“209 acres of Pacific Northwest ecology tucked between the Coast Fork of the Willamette River and the slopes of Mount Pisgah. Established in 1973, with 7 miles of riverside trails, 23 bridges, riparian meadows, evergreen forest, and a rare preserved oak savanna. Free to enter, $5 Lane County parking fee. Open dawn to dusk every day. Dogs welcome on leash.
The arboretum features at least four outdoor interpretive exhibits and I made a point of visiting each one. The trail network is well maintained and some plants are labeled, which turns a walk into an education whether you intend it to or not. The crowds were thin, just a handful of people, which made the whole place feel like a private nature reserve.
I arrived the day before the annual Wildflower and Music Festival was opening, and the setup was already underway. Worth knowing: when the festival runs, a shuttle is apparently necessary given the crowds. Plan accordingly.
The flat arboretum paths and the rugged mountain trails together create a choose your own adventure park that works for a casual stroll or a serious leg burner. One of the better natural spaces in the Eugene area.”
