“It's so peaceful inside! They have so many books on the shelves and beautiful local artwork around. The staff is very friendly and welcoming! They also have a piano, and I'm pretty sure they do small concerts every once in a while.”

“Barnes and Noble is always a great place to go to get books, journalling necessities, self-improvement work books, and so much more! The only difficulty during my last visit was not having anyone available to help find locations for what I was looking for, nobody was available to answer any questions and the only other employees were at the register helping a line of people with their purchases - unable to clear the line to be able to possibly ask them questions. The bathroom was not stocked with toilet paper, soap, water etc. and made it impossible to wash hands properly after using the restroom.”

“Aways wonderful with an incredible selection of books and a bit of interesting miscellaneous. Since moving to the east coast in 2021 I make sure to stop at J. Michael's every time I visit Eugene. Before that I've been a customer for decades. The only problem with the store is that there are too many wonderful books to chose from. Thats a wonderful problem to have.

“I stopped in here after lunch with some friends a few weeks ago, and my kiddo (and I) loved this place! They had so many good toys, lots of nostalgic ones from my own childhood too. They even had the little ride on things they used to have in front of the grocery stores growing up that don’t seem to exist anywhere else anymore. Definitely will be back next time I’m over that way!”

“Purchased a Roman Breviary from these people online and it is in fantastic condition. Collectable yet usable. The packaging was fantastic and the communication and service was spot on.

“I don't typically buy any merch from the Duck store, unless it's on deep discount because prices here are off the charts! I do enjoy the coffee shop in the corner of the store and get mochas here, they serve better drinks than most of the coffee shops around, so I visit often before work and do enjoy window shopping the cool Duck gear. Occasionally I'll buy some art supply items downstairs, they have a great selection of pencils and pens as well as notebooks. Not as cheap as shopping at Target or Walmart, but better selection of quality. It's the Duck Store, I'm a Duck, you should be a Duck too! :)”

“Today (7/1/26) is the second time I've visited this comic shop and it's great! I don't mind not being greeted at the door because the place is relaxed and there is a lot to look at inside. My friends and I asked the owner for a bunch of specific comics and he was able to find many of them. He was polite, prompt, knowledgeable and has a big stock in the back. You can't beat that. I recommend this place and we all hope to come back soon. Thank you, comic shop owner! You made my friend's day when you brought out all the GC Siren comics with the alternate covers. “Cool little shop, it doesn't have a huge selection because it is a small space. What they do have is very cool. They have a wonderful selection of crystals and stones at good prices. I do wish they had more tarot decks. I have found the people running the store to be kind and helpful. I think the people that have said otherwise are the problem. I get the vibe that they don't have time or patience for foolishness.”
