I can't say enough good things about this place.I came to Lane 5 with very little fitness experience. Not only had my level of activity declined significantly during the pandemic, but I had historically never considered myself "athletic." After a year of working out at Lane 5, all of that has changed - my overall health and well-being has improved by leaps and bounds because of the positive community created here by the coaches, most especially Billy and Tom, the co-owners. They continue to thoughtfully teach not only the techniques needed to successfully do CrossFit, but also a growth mindset that has made it possible for me do things I never imagined I would.If you've ever thought about trying CrossFit, but are intimidated, don't be. At least not at Lane 5. If I could start at pretty much zero fitness and grow from there, you can, too. Everything can be scaled based on your abilities.

Lane 5 is absolutely the best athletic experience I have ever had, and I heartily recommend it to anyone, from activity beginners to elite athletes.After a series of ice hockey-related concussions and no activity during COVID, I was in the worst shape of my life. At Lane 5, the coaches, especially Tom and Billy Pappas, met me where I was at my fitness level, and they have carefully and thoughtfully crafted movement adaptations and scaling options to help me meet my needs. At the same time, Tom and Billy have also encouraged me to push myself beyond my expectations appropriately and respectfully.While I realize I am still only partway through a lifetime fitness journey, it's also important to recognize the people and places who have helped me become healthier and happier. Tom, Billy, and the Lane 5 community are integral parts of how I am growing as a person and as an athlete. I am grateful for their support.To those of you who are (still) reading this and want to improve your health, fitness level, and/or athletic mindset, connect with Tom and Billy at Lane 5. You truly will be empowered to change your life for the better.

I dropped by last week on a road trip and it couldn’t have been a better experience. Bill’s gym was welcoming and well set up. The workout was dynamic and long (which I was looking for). Thank you Bill for hosting a vagabond crossfitter!!

This place is run by America's ONLY man to qualify for the Olympic Decathon 3x. Tom and his amazing brother, Bill, have ALWAYS put fitness first. A beautiful place with fantastic folks....they'll help you to be your BEST!

I was nervous to try CrossFit, but Lane5 is incredible. It’s a very supportive and welcoming environment and the coaches are patient and precise (and are world class athletes themselves).

First off, let me say I hadn't done CrossFit in years (though I used to a lot), but even if I never had, Bill made it super welcoming and not exclusionary or spouting off CrossFit acronyms. He was welcoming without being overbearing. I could also tell by the other members there that this gym had a great vibe and general ease. I highly recommend.

I love this gym!So like many I was athletic in high school let things slide and got comfortable with “thin” then covid led to a new level of inactivity long story short I wanted to get back in shape for myself. After checking out a few gyms and prices I decided to try CrossFit honestly because it was the most foreign and intimidating to me life is too short to always be comfortable.I signed up for the on-ramp this is 6 1on1 classes with in my case Billy ( one of the owners) the workouts are so different to anything you have done before and they will be hard but honestly the amount of support from the coaches and the other members is sort of astonishing. You just don’t get that anywhere else, everyone is friendly they make you feel included even when you are new and slow the class down a bit. I was not accustomed to this sort of mindset in any aspect of life it’s awesome.Once you finish your on-ramp they have a wide range of classes available each day and it’s always different and exciting. The coaches will work with your skill level and scale the movements for you so that you can succeed.They do free classes on Saturdays and you can check them out yourself. I promise if you are serious about getting good workouts in and want to get into shape this is the place for you!Anyways this got pretty long, but they are awesome so give them a shot!

Billy is the man to see, if you are even considering trying CrossFit even a little bit curious just do it! I worked out with a personal trainer 3x a week and never worked out as hard and in such a short time frame as I do now. I was hella intimidated to start, but between Billy his team and every other member there the amount of support and encouragement you get is insane. I’ve been to many CrossFit gyms across several states and Lane 5 is the best. The space is ample and people are welcoming, but what sets them apart is coaching. Bill, Tom and crew do an excellent job teaching form while reaching for new personal gains. Highly recommend for all levels.

Lane5 is the best crossft gym in and around Eugene. The team of coaches are very knowledgeable about crossfit, as well as the overall health and wellness of their members. It's a unique and special community of people! If you're looking for a new gym or are interested in jump starting your fitness and health routine, you can't go wrong with this place. Classes are offered throughout the day (and Saturday) to fit any schedule.

Great workout! Very friendly & helpful coaches, especially Billy & Jenny. I had no prior crossfit experience and they gave me exactly the type of instruction I needed. People are really nice here, too.

Lane 5 is one of the best CrossFit gyms I have ever been to. The coaches are knowledgeable and helpful, the programming is excellent, and the facility is deluxe. The gym is very clean as well. There are a range of class times from 5am - 6:30pm. Check out their website for the official schedule. Very drop in friendly.
