The Campbell House Inn is a wonderful and cute place to stay, offering a quiet and clean environment. The inn consists of two separate houses: the main house and the carriage house. Rooms are tastefully decorated with an old timey charm, are very plain but comfortable, and include modern amenities like a small refrigerator. The grounds and beautiful gardens are perfectly manicured with lots of greenery and flowers.
The inn is ideally situated within walking distance to downtown, the park, and historic buildings. There is adequate parking in the inn's lot, though trailer parking is difficult. The friendly staff and front desk provide an excellent welcome and service, available until 10 o’clock at night. Guests receive a complimentary glass of wine at arrival and cookies, with tea and coffee available throughout the day.
Breakfast is very good, delicious, photo-worthy, and very copious, featuring items like scones, waffles with poached pears, and savory sandwiches. It is noted as tasty but small by some. A potential drawback is very loud train whistles throughout the night. Overall, the attention to detail and well-maintained property make for a very good stay.
Everything is perfect except the city allows the train to blow its horn when by residential areas which should be prohibited. Woke us up every night. That is the only thing that keeps us from giving 5 stars! The staff and grounds are wonderful.

Such a gem! We booked a smaller room but its really lovely and clean. Giving us a nice complimentary red wine was also very nice of them. Avery, the receptionist was really helpful too!

We loved how cozy this was and felt like visiting home. Right next to a short and fun trail and the bike trail to downtown. We also loved the complementary drink upon arrival. The complementary breakfast was amazing! Nothing but good things here.
