Tsunami Books is a classic landmark and wonderful used bookstore for Eugene readers, creatives, bohemians, and book lovers alike. It is a funky, incredibly inviting place with walls filled with new, used, and vintage books, as well as music, comics, tarot cards, and records. They have an excellent and impressive selection, including a rare book room. The atmosphere is lovely and intimate, with a scent of old books that gives a feeling of nostalgia. It is a great place to browse literature. Besides books, they have other cool things for sale. They actively support local artists by showcasing art and selling handcrafted items like candles, bowls, and journals. They also offer photo prints, calendars, amazing postcards, and specially designed notebooks. The price range is affordable with awesome prices. The staff are always incredibly friendly, helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable. If they don't have what you're looking for, they can find it and order it for you. They also make excellent suggestions. The store is well-organized with handwritten notes and featured picks. Tsunami Books is also a venue for live music, poetry, book readings, and other events, featuring a little stage area. It is an excellent and magical place, a great rainy day activity, and a haven for browsing shelves for a good book to take home.

What a lovely intimate offering. The atmosphere was of old books, knowledge and sharing. 85 seats to hear an icon speak. What a magical night brought by the generosity of Tsunami books.
