“This is the best place to stay in Florence, actually we travel the world and Edwin K is one of our top places. Extremely clean with all the accommodations you would ever want. Perfect location to Old Town. Owners are extremely nice and accommodating. Cannot say enough about this place. 5 plus stars!”

“This place is all ways top on MY list. I've been staying here off and on for about 15 years. It's an old Motor Inn. The one you remember from long ago that had your room with a garage attached to it. Yeah, you remember don't you. Anyway, this place has been remodeled and now has big and small rooms.
I was lucky enough to get the kitchenette, with one bedroom and a living room and kitchen. All this for just $120 a night.
The staff is great. The room is great. The view is great, big tall trees and rhododendrons all over the place. This place also has Cabins that you can rent.
You must try it out. You'll come back.”

“We chose to rest here for a night before our Siuslaw Dunes 20 Miler race, and we were nervous about whether or not we’d be able to get a good night’s rest. As it turns out, we shouldn’t have worried at all! The rooms were perfectly clean (including the microwave) with quite serviceable beds, no odd odor to speak of, the parking lot was safe and well-lit, and the windows had blackout curtains. If every motel was this well-maintained and well-priced, I’d certainly stay in motels much more often.”

“Pros: Breakfast is way above average - omelet station and dining room has a view of the river and town. Indoor pool also has an incredible view.

Cons: no elevators - pool is in second (daylit) basement. our room was on first daylit basement with no view but still opened onto trees but in a separate building from pool. Rooms showing age - many layers of paint, peeling surfaces.”

“Of all the places that we have stayed at, this is one that I would go out of my way to return to. Located in the town but away from the main roads and on top of an overlooking hill made the location amazingly quiet. The room was massive and the bed was the most comfortable outside of our own bed. Even the furniture was amazingly comfortable. The staff was cheerful and professional and the lady that I checked in with took the time to highlight local restaurants that stayed open until 9 as we had arrived after 7. The town of Florence essentially closes at 9, so be prepared for that. Absolutely nothing to complain about.”

“Very clean, newly redone rooms

Rooms: So clean, that I (clean freak who often Clorox wipes the surfaces in hotel rooms) was fine with my preschooler sleeping on a blanket on the floor.

Walkability: Cute downtown and river is less than a block away. Great coffee shop River Roasters is a 2 minute walk (covered out door seating on river with heaters) as well as cute interior.

Food & drinks: Prepacked food at the gran and go breakfast”

“The owners Milton and Natalie are the best. Rooms have a kitchen, table and chairs, full bath, comfy bed and best part is the back patio with the lake view. ?. They see friendly and quick to answer questions, ect. We have stayed here twice both for 5-6 months at a time. Would recommend this place to anyone but really to those that need a few months at a time stay. Dog friendly.”

“Quaint stay with lovely staff! Every detail in the lobby and rooms was a cherry on top. The person at the front desk was very kind and their hospitality did not falter!! Inn’s location was perfect for exploring downtown Florence and surrounding areas. Not to mention the biscuits and gravy- seriously can’t wait to come back :)”

“It’s a very pet-friendly place, which made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. The room was clean, comfortable, and had enough space for all of us.
The staff was friendly and welcoming, and we really appreciated how easy the check-in and check-out process was.”

“This is very obviously a low budget hotel on the outside. That being said, it was surprisingly decent in the room. We stayed in the family room which means we had a queen and a kitchen in the main area and a separate room with 2 double beds. The beds were clean and decently comfortable (the frames were a bit squeaky but I will take that if the mattress is cozy). The bathroom was clean and good sized. The linens were clean and everything worked well. The pool was good. A little cool and could have been cleaned a little better, but nothing really remarkable. Just a couple of spots in the bottom. Staff was very friendly. One member even made sure to show us that the closet in our room was still being renovated and had some exposed screws to be careful of. The hotel is in a good area and we felt comfortable and safe at this hotel. Would definitely stay there again. I would say a great value for the price and better than many budget places you can stay.”
