The Lighthouse Inn is a budget-friendly accommodation located in a convenient location, with easy access to the highway and nearby restaurants and shops. The reviews paint a mixed picture of the property - while the staff are described as friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is praised for its quality, the overall condition of the inn seems to be in need of some refreshing. The rooms are described as clean but dated, with some issues such as inconsistent shower temperatures and tiles falling off in the bathrooms. The building itself is also reported to be in a state of disrepair, with neglected landscaping and a general sense of being run-down. However, the beds are noted to be surprisingly comfortable, and the rooms are said to be relatively quiet despite the proximity to the highway. While the Lighthouse Inn may not offer a luxury experience, it appears to provide a reasonably clean and affordable option for travelers on a budget, with a welcoming staff and a decent breakfast. The location, within walking distance to the charming Old Town district of Florence, is also a plus for those looking to explore the local area.
The more time you spend in the building, the more vintage surprises you will noticed hidden in every room. From the repurposed telephone booth/room to the brass fire bells to the brass hardware on windows and doors, it can take you back in time. It has a feel of home with a B&B mix including delicious homemade breakfast!

Enjoyed a two night stay at this very cozy and convenient location, near some of the best restaurants Florence has to offer and the Siuslaw Bridge. Thank you Eric, for being so welcoming and helpful.

Cozy and homey, while still being clean and well maintained. Felt like being at a grandparents house in some ways. Good location in walking distance of old town. Unfortunately I missed the free biscuits and gravy!
