“Vintage Nomadic Rugs has a beautiful selection & very fair prices. I purchased a gorgeous green rug today for my living room after searching for over a year, I found it in five minutes. The color & quality will be enjoyed for years to come. Thank you!”
“Great selection and prices. Friendly and fast. Very convenient delivery. And their delivery folks are amazing. Hector and Julian set my furniture up quickly and professionally. They took pains to ensure that my hardwood floors weren't scratched or damaged. They managed to move a full-sized couch up a narrow spiral staircase, without a single scuff, scratch or ding on the walls! Couldn't ask for more.”
“GO THERE NOW! One of my favorite shops in all of Portland. All the vendors so lovingly curate their spaces and the Urbanite staff are so so sweet and helpful! Seriously. GO! You're gonna love it.”
“We stopped in to What's New furniture for the first time last week and were so impressed by the selection of furniture and the prices and the friendly people working there! We had been looking for a few new pieces of furniture and they had exactly what we were looking for. We ended up getting a beautiful teak dining table, midcentury walnut dining chairs, and a beautiful grey blue sofa. The employees were absolutely wonderful, kind, and helpful and we were able to take advantage of the Memorial Day sale (thank you!!!!)! Our furniture was delivered so quickly and efficiently. It was truly such a great experience! Highly recommend!!!! :D”
“Super happy with my experience! Came for the first time and was walking through how to use the system. No tare and free jars! Love it. Super simple and affordable. I got shampoo and conditioner and after my first use today it was pretty comparable to my Pantene shampoo. I would dare say it feels cleaner and fresher than the old one. Loved that they also provide labels so you remember what you about and the ingredients. Variety of laundry soaps, cleaners, lotions, even aloe vera! Definitely will be coming back!”
“This is my go-to for potting soil, I regularly come in for. This place has so many plants and containers and there's often new ones coming in and it's just a cute and cozy shop too.”
“A carefully curated and organized (and really beautiful) shop full of neat stuff. Focused on hardware, of course, but still one of the best antique shops I've been to.”
“Very charming store. Staff is super knowledgeable on product. Beautiful inventory. Lovely complimentary gift wrap. Feels like you are in someone's home. They've been there over 2½ decades.”
“I ordered a piece of moldavite from this establishment. I’m happy to say that this place has real moldavite unlike some of the fake ones I’ve ordered from other places.”
“Let me start by saying, Adam and John are amazing people. The shop is incredible. Fantastic quality work and excellent customer service. Also prices are very reasonable compared to other futon shops. Don’t listen to the bad reviews about not being able to put futon a together. It is sad to see you people leaving bad feedback for good business because they are unable to follow instructions and have 0 communication skills. Oh, and they feel somehow entitled too. Go get your rock soft futon from rock solid people. ???”
“One of my favorite stores in all Portland. Great place to buy gifts for friends and family, and things to make home cozier. And the Turkish delight treats are the most delicious you’ll ever try. If they offer a sample don’t refuse!”

“Lake Oswego Flowers was an absolute pleasure to work with! I worked with them for my wedding florals. Gary + the team made the process easy, were flexible throughout the process, had competitive pricing, and delivered absolutely stunning pieces for the day. The delivery was on time and their communication overall was excellent. I would highly recommend for quality, convenience, the team’s kindness, and flexibility!”
“The team at Brush and Trowel are very knowledgeable, kind and helpful. They are also almost unbelievably fast at completing and expediting orders. Being a contractor in Seattle, I have found I will get custom Plaster matches from them complete and In my hands faster than I can get custom paint matches at my local paint stores. I would highly recommend them to anyone!”
“Little Baja is amazing!! Thomas and Jordan were very helpful and did all the heavy lifting for me. Thomas even helped me put all the pots in my car at the end. Thank yall so so much. I will definitely be telling all my friends and family about this place!!”
“Wonderful store highlighting many local products. Beautiful gifts for the home. Great place to buy a unique gift for someone else or something beautiful for your home.”
“An absolute gem in downtown Portland. A giftshop with work from local artists and small businesses that is also a record label. You can listen to all the local artists before you buy any records and there are a few worth exploring. In addition, the staff gave me some really good advice about activities in and around Portland. I returned several times. Their location at the airport also has local microbrews at decent prices (that the dowtown location did not have).”

“I am obsessed! This is the perfect place to find random and unique gifts for your friends and family (or yourself ?). From small ceramic turtles, to Peanuts shoelaces, to paper decor, to vintage furniture, you’ll find something to take home. Whoever curated the vendors and decorated the space needs a raise ?↕️”
“Shelby was great to work with!! She made the whole process a breeze - she had great communication and gave us excellent recommendations. I recommend her without hesitation - if you head to the Lake Oswego location - ask for Shelby!”

“O. M. G! The Vintage Nest is my FAVORITE spot to wander around, relax, reminisce, and find some great inspiration. I love me some farmhouse. And furniture flipping. They even have a seller of quality furniture chalk paint! Decor, gifts, furniture knobs, odds and ends. I love everything about this place! They have an array of antuque, vintage as well as newer items to purchase. Prices range depending on each seller. But I have never walked out with buyers remorse! I will always come back. As a matter of fact. Im headed in the front door in just a min!!!”
“Great energy, beautiful crystals, amazing smells & the kindest owner. I always make sure I stop by and pickup a little something for myself whenever I’m in town ♡ support small businesses!!!”
“Summary: Give Mandy a raise!!
As a newcomer to Portland, I was hesitant about which local spots I should eat, drink, and visit. Mandy, behind the counter, went out of her way to handwrite me a list of all her suggestions with descriptions of each recommendation!
She easily provided me with the best customer service I have experienced, regardless of industry or geographical location. She deserves the world. I hope this business realizes how lucky they are to have her as an employee. As long as Mandy works here, I will be a loyal customer forever.

“I am always so impressed with how helpful and knowledgeable the staff are at this store! I have purchased product for many different projects and they always steer me in the right direction and love the end result. They always treat me so well and take time with me even though I'm just another DIY'er always learning a new trick.”

“Wonderful experience and got one of the best Nordsman trees from a tiny farm near Garden Home!
He has a variety of trees and sizes to choose from but the tallest seem to be around 8-9ft and those seem to be going fast. Lots of 4-6ft to choose from still as of December 12.
He is open 10am - 4:45pm daily except for Mondays or in case of severe weather. Plans to stay open up until December 22 or later.
Go ready with cash, no other payment options accepted at this time. Some crooks took advantage of the owner and wrote bad checks.
The most expensive trees were around $150-170 (like a tall Nordman, supposedly that will last at least until February if watered), but a similar size blue spruce was around $120. There were 3-4ft ones around $30-40, and I saw smaller trees at $25. Some are precut, or you can select one from the farm and he or you can cut it.
I recommend you go ready to load the tree on or in your car yourself. The owner has some health issues, and while he was able to help me load the 10ft tree, I would have preferred to do it myself for fear of him suffering a fall (alas, I'm heavily pregnant).
The best part was that I felt I was helping an aging, ailing man who's trying to make an honest living. He knows a lot about each tree and can give great advice about loading, unloading and caring for the tree.”
“This is one of my favorite places to buy home goods and furniture. The items are unique and the outlet specifically has discounted prices so if you don't mind cosmetic blemishes or missing parts you can find some gems. We got a beautiful table here, great quality and was only missing a peg (fixable) and had cosmetic damage. It's probably my favorite piece of furniture now! Their regular store across the street is great too if you prefer brand new condition!”
“Pretty great place! All in all it’s just a “Goodwill Highlight Reel” but there’s plenty of nostalgia to make up for the prices. Expect to find T-shirts that were once around $5 at your local goodwill, for $45. They also had some pretty cool “The Crow” trading cards. Go Brandon Lee! Bring your film cameras here, great place for vintage pictures that’ll make your friends think you can time travel.”
“Road To Tibet is my favorite little gem in Portland to find Tibetan treasures and jewelry. the owner is quite possibly the sweetest most hard working woman I’ve ever met, my mom used to work at house of vintage next door so I’ve been going since I was 8 years old, I’m now 21 and the place only gets more beautiful every year, with new items weekly and such a welcoming and warm energy. All around a magical place to shop for quality pieces ? Here’s some jewelry I bought today”

“Typically we love this store. But this last Monday we called to verify hours because it's more than an hour away and traffic is always an unown. Answering machine says they're open until 5:30 so we're feeling good. Arrive at 4:58 and a young girl with her purse over her shoulder shouts into the parking lot from the door, "We're Closed!" We responded that we called and it said 5:30 and she said again "we're closed" and she closed the door and turned around.Well... Crap! We'd planned to be there to spend some big cash on the 50% off all clearance event. Nothing we can really do about it except not give them our money.”
“Besides having the most beautiful and interesting lighting fixtures, they also have the friendliest service. I think they are very knowledgeable. I wish I had a bigger house so I could include some of their extraordinary pieces.”
“Love this little place inside Cargo! There always seems to be something new in stock; it makes it hard not to buy at least one new item everytime I pop in. They have the best selection of washi tapes from Japan too...I've already lost count of the number of tapes I've gotten here. My latest purchases also include some adorable stationery, rubber stamps, and a Russian vintage pin. If you appreciate cute, delightful, interesting knickknacks you're bound to find some treasures here.”
“There's a good selection of furniture. They have a friendly and helpful staff. They also have a website so you can see what they have in stock for the most part.”
