The store and their stock is so well thought out, they pretty much have everything you’d expect from a convenience store and a lot more! Great snacks (I mean like really great) + drinks, good beer selection, etc. So many essentials; dairy products, grab and go sandwiches, ice cream, energy drinks, you name it. The owners are so kind. “They have the best priced Geek Bars in Portland that I've found. The last time I was there my vape was faulty, that happens sometimes, and the employee replaced it for me no issues. FYI, always check that it works before you leave any store.”

“I went in and said I was looking for a wine that would be good with chili. The gentleman picked out a bottle for me in my price range - it was an Austrian wine I would’ve walked past. It was absolutely perfect. I was blown away at how good it was with the chili, it was amazing. On its own it was good but with the chili it was better. Magic! Anyway, I will definitely be coming back for more wine recommendations, they obviously know what’s up. Can’t wait to try a Friday night tasting.”

“Saw that there was a new liquor store on the way home and decided to check it out. Secretly I had always hoped that one day someone would open one up around 182nd and Powell so I was pretty excited to see it come true. They have a pretty huge selection of liquor and the employee's were really friendly. I do wish that had the version of liquor I was looking for. They did have the brand but were only stocked with the light version and not the dark but they did have the dark version in a more expensive bottle. No biggie, just ended up buying the more expensive bottle. People should def check this place out!”
“This is a great liquor store with very knowledgeable staff/owners. If you are looking for hard to find bourbons and whiskeys this is the place for you. They have an outstanding selection and Jason is always friendly, attentive and doling out excellent recommendations. “Best wine shop in town. The new proprietor, Scott, is incredibly knowledgeable and eager to help, even with a wine novice like myself. His prices are reasonable and selection is well-curated. I won’t buy wine from anywhere else. It’s also a great gathering place for friends, especially at the weekly Friday tastings.”

Did have individual cans and 2Litre bottles for a variety of soda, plus Monster. Lotta chilled white Monster Zero 😁Did have Tuaca which was exactly what I needed.”

I've found bottles here that you just won't find without being a part of some club, or taking part in a raffle. They knocked it out of the park with the Xmas gift for my dad too! “This is my favorite wine store. Ed, though I didn't see him on my recent visit, has always steered me towards interesting wines. They sell wines at all price levels, and will happily recommend a bottle if asked. Unfortunately, Richard, the R of E&R, no longer lives in Oregon.”

Every store in the state carries 75% the same standards. Since most of the really allocated bottles are near impossible to get, I look for store picks to find things that are a little more unique and sometimes very special. These guys know their stuff and pick some incredible single barrel store picks.
These guys know the market and are usually the first to stock the newest bourbons that are in demand. Super friendly staff. Great little store.
